Really want to try Mancera Vetiver Sensuel. I've tried TF Grey Vetiver EDP, and I'm very impressed by it. Will definitely get one of the two. Awesome video.
Hi! Vetiver Sensuel is such an underrated fragrance in my opinion. I have never tried Grey Vetiver EDP before, so thank you for mentioning it. Let me know which one you end up going with. Thanks for watching!
I have a few from Atelier, I need to sample Blanc Polychrome!
Hi! It’s a nice one for sure. Thanks for watching!
Trevor at TZ Fragrances has mentioned Vetiver Sensuel a few times, definitely on my list to pick up this summer. And I love Ambra Calabria, great pick for hot days. The other I like to wear is Xerjoff Decas. Now I'm in Ohio and we don't get the extreme humidity you have in Japan, but my father was in the Air Force and we lived on Okinawa for a couple of years, so I understand humidity. I'm also a fan of Nishane's Ege, I don't know how they manage to keep that yuzu note for such a long time, but they do!
Hi. I have never tried Decas or Ege before. I envy your weather in Ohio, but since you lived in Okinawa, you completely understand my pain. Did you use to live on Kadena Air Base? I lived there for about 1 year.
@@CurtisNose We were actually at Naha Air Force Base, I believe it's closed now. It was during my Jr. High days. It was an incredible place to live at that age. My parents would let us board the military shuttle buses that ran from all the bases, we'd take off in the morning and be back in time for dinner. I can't imagine that kind of freedom for kids today. I remember the monsoons and the non-stop rainy season. This was back in 1967-69. I'd love to go back to visit someday!
Oh cool! When I was in the military, I was stationed in Okinawa for about 1 year. That was back in 2001, At that time, I do not recall if Naha Air Base was still open or not. What a lovely experience that you had at such a young age.
@@CurtisNose It was the only time we were able to go overseas with my father. He was in logistics/supply and just before he passed he told us he was involved with nuclear weapons, which explained why we could never join him overseas. We were old enough to have appreciated the experience and remember the great times! So yes, I can understand your situation regarding humidity! 😅
It's hot here this week so I need to dig out my You or Someone Like You! Torino 21 is awesome and none of its successors comes close, IMHO. If you haven't tried it, I'd recommend Aqua Media by MFK. Very citrusy and lasts forever on me (at least indoors, lol). Great video!
Interesting! Thank you for opinion about Torino 21's successors. Xerjoff really did a phenomenal job with Torino 21. I'll try and score a sample of Aqua Media then, so thank you for letting me know about it. Thanks for watching always!
I appreciate the insight and variety. Do you prefer Torino 21 or Renaissance as a mint forward fragrance? Do you feel it's redundant to own both?
Hi! Great question! The last time I sampled Renaissance was about 3 or 4 years ago, so I don't think that I can recall the smell in my memory accurately. With that said, for me Torino 21 and Renaissance might share the same purpose so it could possibly be redundant. However, if you are a collector, I think it would be a great one to have. I do remember Renaissance smelling really good though.
👍
Thank you, my friend.
