The fact that it was built in the 12th century and Gothic architecture was only incorporated later shows how architecture has evolved over time. Particularly impressive are the 15 tapestries that have been so well preserved. They depict the significant moments in the life of the Virgin Mary and give visitors a deep insight into the religious history of the region. A visit here is a must for anyone exploring Burgundy!
