    I love how well OP got back at his narcissistic stbxw by ghosting her. People like her really do feed off of being the center of attention, good or bad, it doesn't matter. It was like depriving a vampire of a source of blood.

    Once a cheater, always a cheater. Should have made her sign a postnuptial agreement before taking her back the first time; and told his daughter the truth about her mother before leaving the 2nd time. He caught her once and she just got smarter about hiding it; plus he didn’t want to admit/see the truth for a long time.
    She insisted on separating their finances, blamed his un-thoughtfulness him for NOT getting her an expensive birthday gift and only slept with him 2x a year!? The writing was on the wall dude, should have used some of his money for a PI and follow her for a few weeks.

  • @martinabest5801
    @martinabest5801 7 місяців тому +5

    This story is rather frustrating. The author makes the protagonist sound like a class A wimp. A smart businessman would have had a PI on her as soon as red flags began appearing. She did this repeatedly and he kept hanging in there living off of hopium. Sheesh.
    Another point - - You never, ever fully combine finances. EVER. Have joints for household expenses and another one for emergencies, vacations, etc. only. The rest should always be kept separate.

    I can’t muster up much sympathy for anyone but the daughter. These two should never have married. This guy had multiple opportunities where the universe was screaming at him to leave her! When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

      I was like this guy, a Simp, my ex wife cheated on me with my best friend and I still took her back and he wasn't man enough to take her, so after I realized she became a serial cheater, I grew a back bone and became an alpha, and finally kicked her ass out, this was after being married almost 22 years 😅😂😅

    That was a doorbell kind of guy. They liked pushing his button ! He is also a doormat and will always be one. Let me tell you, it sucks to be to be the better person! Karma maybe true but it’s like gambling that sooner or later you will win. In time you might feel better because you see or hear something bad about them but it’s like having sex without having a climax ! You feel a little good but not the satisfying ending that you want.

      Texas does have alimony (called spousal support specifically), but only after 10 years of marriage and only in limited cases. Also, Texas has both no-fault and at-fault divorce, you can do either.

      @@bobcharles7933 it has to be agreed on prior to the marriage. It is very unlikely they get it here. I was married for 14 years and made 4 times her salary. Still no alimony. If you are in the rarity that does have alimony. You are probably the one that really F’ed up. And in most counties here it’s mostly no fault. Yes some will apply reason for divorce. That will help. But mostly it’s always no fault.

    I wouldn't say he was a v simp. He was trying ro do what was right. His lawyer was right about the effect of the video for her case for the divorce. Thesr days opinion of others can have an effect. What if Rob wasn't as nice as he was? In a sense, the OP had to work on wining hearts and minds of those he encountered. Also he should be wary of his daughter. His ex-wife could easily brainwash her
