im so happy i came across this randomly! its really reassuring to be able to see how to think behind a question, this is super helpful. thank u so much :D
Hi sir, at 0:51 , aren't you also meant to state that silicon dioxide has weak intermolecular forces of attraction too because it is a giant covalent structure and has strong covalent bonds yet weak intermolecular forces of attraction.
i'm pretty sure silicon dioxide doesn't have weak intermolecular forces because it is a giant covalent structure - only small covalent structures do (which is why they have a low mp and bp)

Glad it was helpful!
This is the only thing saving my plummeting grade right nowXD Thank you so much for this
Good luck!!
Can you make for Edexcel chemistry question please befor the exam
I'm not going to have time unfortunately :(

Thanks for the comment, silicon dioxide is a large covalent structure therefore it has strong covalent and intermolecular forces. Hope this helps!
Spot on!
Hello can you please do foundation
Sorry I do not have the time :( Good luck though! You'll smash it!!
