Can I Lie down and breastfeed my baby?

OK, I am confused….🤔 Can I breastfeed my baby while lying down?
This is another frequent question I get in my DMs, the answer 👇🏼
You definitely can.
As the position of the baby is not changing, only the mommy’s position is changing, so it does not make much difference for the baby.
But make sure to keep these things in mind.
👉 There should be no loose clothes or soft pillows near you that can cause suffocation to the lil one.
👉 Always breastfeed the baby in a diagonal position. It reduces the chances of suffocation.
👉 If you are taking any medications that can make you drowsy, avoid lying down and breastfeeding.
