Lovely motor 👍
@@PinguConcorde And a gorgeous colour!
Wood, tints, head rests, twin head lights, rev counters, vinyl exterior bits, oh the luxury
Ikr! Like the pearl of cars.
What's not to love in a British classic
Fantastic music intro loved that .
And the triumph obviously
@@dreammaker730 Yay! Glad you liked it!
What a beautiful looking car Simon!
@@simon.easton isn't it?! I wonder who owns it?
I always loved Triumph cars from this era, I am young enough to remember most of them being launched, Herald, Dolomite (absolute class), Stag, the incredibly fabulous 2500, Spitfire (I had 2),, Triumph were in a class of their own. I also owned a TR7 which I like a lot.
@@Vince_uk They do seem to be well put together cars with just enough flare to be interesting.
Lovely car. Just what I'm looking for, an auto version (due to decrepid hips lol).
What a smashin' car.
Being a bit older still than Simon E I remember these handsome Triumphs from the time too. Very well spoken indeed by Simon E when talking about the car in the middle section of the video.
@@D.Dastardly They are bigger than I expected, and very pretty inside.
Nice hearing the owners passion for the car and his story with this car.
@@markonmotoring Ikr! He's a top lad is Simon, and I hope to drive Dolly again on some better roads.
The mirror has dropped on me twice today.. really must do something about it.
@@simon.easton Blue-tak. 😂
Beautifully preserved Dolomite & very nostalgic, my Aunty had several Dolomites, followed by an Acclaim which lasted for years, but she always missed the Dolomites
@@badbooks476 Such a shame Triumph are reduced to only 2 wheels these days.
Does this make you want a classic more now Simon. 😅
Indeed!
One of the best and most underrated cars from the 70s. Definitely on my wish list for some day!
You should defo have a crack in one.
@ would love to! You need to come and sample the Allegro!
@thtmotoring I need a secretary to arrange my calender. 😂
@ I’ll be off work from Feb 17th for a week
Right, I'll pencil you in for the Wednesday of that week. I'll have to wait till I'm back home to confirm.
I had mine a lowly 1300 in the damson? red polishedvand waxed the life out of it the night before its first show, when i got up next morning it had rained and the paintwork had all gone patchwork pink. Dangit.
Lol. Pink paint is that future of most cars. 😂
Why is everyone born in 1973 i was born 1977 december in fact .
Never buy a marina .
You have a lovely cr there love it and look after it , much better than a cortina.
We all need something to keep us occupied thankyou so much for letting norman drive your car.
@@dreammaker730 Norman gets everywhere these days!
Just a hypothetical question: IF one of these were to catch fire and explode, would that make it a Triumph Dynamite 💥👀😮🔥🧨?! I currently have 8 Triumph TR-7's on my land at home. Over time I removed all of the/4 Engines from them. Last weekend a man came and took them all away along with the gearboxes. I knew those engines looked a lot like those SAAB /4's. Funny thing that....😊!
@@StevensPaul Triumph dynamite. 😂 🤣 🤣
Handbrake! Haha 😂
@@simon.easton How embarrassing. 😂
What an awesome video! I love the way it's presented! I got to see what a beautiful car this is, your experience of it and what a lovely person @simon.easton is !! 😊👌🩵
@@justujuj He totally is! I can't wait for you to meet him.
@@justujuj I might even let you have a piece of my Yorkie bar 😁
