- While we have completed the majority of the installation in Part 1, we now tie up loose ends and finish up the Battery Isolator installation, prepare and setup the secondary battery properly, and connect them up and test out the effectiveness of the isolator!
Once the battery has been installed in the boot, we powered our car refrigerator up and finally we can have continuous cooling without the fear of draining out our main car battery!
Forgive our grainy quality in some parts of the video due to me zooming in to allow you guys to have a clearer look! We are looking to upgrade our video equipments soon and hope to push out quality videos for your entertainment and information!

Hello, Nice video especially because there is nothing out there for right hand drive. Just a question, why didn't you connect the acc wire to the cigarette lighter fuse in the fuse box next to the battery.
I'm kinda confused? U are aware that the isolator you have is a smart isolator ? The circuit breaker you installed is perfect, but you do know the isolator switches the circuit to the rear battery off/on by itself, and there is no need to manually disconnect with the breaker? I'm sure you are aware of this, but, someone else watching may not be aware of this. Great two part video, thanks for taking the time to share.
appreciate your contribution..
Great video
Hey great Job! Thanks
CheaperJeeperTV thank you!
Just watched your video. Just wondering if you have had any alternator trouble with the extra load.
Looks great 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
need fuse on 2nd battery (not breaker). was hoping you would show your rear battery tie down method , how is it attached? Hope you don't leave it just loose??
Hi no I don't carry the battery in the boot all the time. It was meant to be removable, so that I only use the battery when going off-road to power my fridge. I am still looking for a solution to tie down the battery but for now, there is no battery there (:
Hii nice job
what is the dimensions of the battery LxWxH and it's capacity?
Its a 200Ah Calcium battery, but its taking up too much boot space so I may downsize it to a 100Ah battery!
Will this do anything to the 2nd auxiliary battery that is under the fuse box?
What size wire did you use for the ground on the isolator?
Hi! I used 2AWG!
I'm asking for the ground and auxiliary on the isolator. Those size wires.
I used 16AWG, or 1.5mm2
Okay thanks a ton. I bought one of these for my car audio system but realized it didn't come with any recommendations on the ground or auxiliary wire sizes
Yes cause the wire is only needed to activate the isolator sensor to switch off or on. So current draw is very minimal, thus a normal wire will do (:
Thats fuse makes you lose amperage
