This combo does almost 70 percent for me if I meter burn gutted at the end

It's weird. A lot of the times whenever I try to go into the bf->1 from the 3,2 start it shoots off the ninja stars instead of the trip mind. Anyone else having that problem?
yes it makes me ninja stars when i chained f32, bf1
Solved it! Just turn off Button Release Check on your controller settings. I think the problem was that it was still reading the button input from when you hit 2 during the chain.

i have a strong feeling he is going to get a buff which will break him except i dont know if he is underpowered or not because i never watched a video on him except for combo videos but he is basically only able to get 400 damage of supers from what i have seen
b+2,3 - d+f3 (mb) - b3 - j2 - db1 (mb for extra damage) 556.81 damage with my gear stats. (both gutted and hidden explosive abilities)

Multiverse for Red Hood and just playing him.
I got a gear set almost just like this playing my first multiverse tower with him yesterday right after I bought him lol I even got a shader in like 10 minutes.

It's a gear specific move
C-137 Rick Sanchez you have to meter burn the move gutted and it's a alternate special move

I found out that you can get 3 1s in the corner
think you got some of these wrong or are missing some moves its impossible to keep them in the air of the 4 combo it simply wont activate fast enough and when it is fast enough the B2 3 just uses the explosive attack...
I've already mastered most of these combos but I'm having trouble getting the close mine out. any help?

This is a question I'm wondering do u gather combos and gather them together and turn that into a huge combo or gather moves and combos together?
I think he might need more damage especially with his character trait but if not those or actually mostly his ground mine . I did the combo they did on the NetherRealm twitch stream Including the one with augments (except armor or epic gear ) , but the first one was lacking damage for a 16 hit to me imo I think it was 30% you can check it's the only video I uploaded in my youtube account it was during the event before red hood was released (no fear) . I don't mind it taking skill to use him at all but make sure to give us the reward . But maybe it's just me, I'm continuing to make more combos especially with augments I'm definitely not giving up on him at all and I hope I'll become a skilled red hood player maybe one day I can take him to comp .

Ok I must be the only fool having issues using red hoods trait. I can do the majority of the combos but when I go to add his trait combo I get stuck. I can't seem to pull it off. I spent hours yesterday and cant seem to do it. Is there a trick to this I am missing?

Red Hood is more of an anti-zoner. He has mix-ups when close, but he excels at mid-range. Basically, he is a very solid character. I recommend you watch Sonicfox use him. He shows how the character should be used.

I'm having problem with the Spin Parry move. I can do it but he gets his guns and he just swinging them and not shoots. pls somebody help me
He only shoots if you get hit. Otherwise, he just spins the guns. It is a parry move.

On my b+1 - 3,2 I keep throwing him away with an explosive. What am I doing wronh
You have to pause in between the b+1 and 3, 2. They are two different attack strings. You are pressing 3 too soon and getting his b+1, 3 attack string. In short, you need to do just b+1 by itself, then do 3, 2 (an attack string). I hope that helps :)

You can. They hit overhead so you have to be holding back to block them, not holding down.
what does 1 + 3 mean. Does it mean to press them at the same time

is it me or is his combos in the corner really hard to pull off? I can't tell the timing and you can't mash it. Sometimes it lands sometimes it doesn't.

Oh, did you make sure to download him from the store? He is a separate download by himself and he is free for you. If you did that already, then try restarting your console.

I just got him yesterday. You can at least do like a 2-hit basic combo (like 1,1) into 4,3,3,2, finish with up or down + 2, grab, or meterburn. His character trait is kind of like Poison Ivy's hammer move except it goes away if you drop the specific combo for it or when you finish doing it right. It's weird at first.
They have to be proper combos. Like x,x, triangle. I have a combo where I use x, triangle, circle, x, x, triangle r2 and it's doooope

Man.. i really wanted him to be a rushdown character so bad, not another zoning one. his combos ain't even good
TempleSoup he has awesome combos just hard to learn them and he is more of a rushdown character them a zoner he is more of a zone killer
No but not just that, he just doesn't excel at anything.
his rushdown, zoning and combo potencial and damage are pretty much meh. he just doesn't have the enough tools to do combos, rush or zone
TempleSoup it is hard getting combos down with him
And that's the problem, because they are hard to do and they don't do much damage. zoning is unreliable because he doesn't have enough tools, and besides the roll he doesn't have much of a rushdown because his jump is so bad.
You see what i mean? he doesn't excel at anything, and paying attention Red Hood is just a poor mans Harley Quinn. because she can at least zone and do combos more effectively.
