I appreciate it this cuz my grandfather was like that a man who never cried I saw this man literally cut his finger off and didn't even make a face but on his birthday we all got together and this man became a crying fountain. Love you grandpa
Even though I had some ill-feelings towards Hiashi even during shippuden. I'm glad he is one of the few characters that got their dream. Hiashi now has a family, has grandchildren and someone who he can pass on the Hyuga way.
The man that called his own daughter a failure and was an overly protective father whenever she had eyes for Naruto, understandably too, is.......a teddy bear to his own grandkids. Wow.
Remembering how.cold and old minded this man was once to this happy mellow and proud grandfather whos just a.big ol pile of fluff for his grandbabies....brings joy and probably joy to him as well for how he knew.he.used to be....this is just one of many things naruto changed on his way to the top

I love this new development on Hisashi. He’s such an adorable grandfather. One thing I would love is some backstory on Hinata’s mother. She was only seen like once in the main anime. I’ve always assumed she was dead or just like a fling.
This ep was beautiful, seeing Hiashi's new way of life...learning about the updates that was made to the Hyuga clan. Hiashi reminiscing his brother Hizashi and nephew Neji, The way Hiashi was thanking Naruto for everything he's done. Boruto being a GOAT and sticking up for his family name, seeing Kurenai again and Mitsuki always making us laugh. 😂 I'm happy Hiashi had a very good birthday with his family and I hope there's many more to come in the future. ❤
I do not actually think he was gonna do anything bad to her, if you know Asian parenting (speaking from experience) they tend to be super harsh and pushy to there kids calling them out on all there short comings and pushing them super hard if they see that you could be better you even see it in Shippuden when Hinata flashback to her time after the Chunin exams when she stated training with Neji. If an Japanese dad actually hated you you would not get lectured or told off harshly, you get ignored
This episode really got to me, i've only grown up with 2 grandfather, sadly one died when i was really young and one grandfather i still got. Me and him are close, best mates even and he means everything to me. My grandmother, his wife died 2 years ago and i'm going to stay with him and help him, a way for me to say thankyou for all those amazing times we had together over the years, going fishing together, going to places we both wanted to visit such as history musemums, aircraft displays, even going to work with him or even just going out somewhere not too far just so we could get out of the house for a while. Family is the most important thing in your life and always come first, cherrish every moment with them.
It was nice to see Boruto getting taught some history lesson about the past Hyuga. People tend to claim Boruto is a brat that doesn't know anything about the past. This episode and the last arc shows them otherwise. Personal rating 8/10.

MrJinglejanglejingle I doubt it. He doesn’t seem to be interested in combat any more and he’s past his prime.
someone like fugaku
Jirrell Johnson I mean him and his twin were stronger than neji lmao they could prob rival any uchiha in that era
BMG-_MURKIN I would have wanted to see him vs fugaku
i don’t know why but seeing him almost cry made me very happy :> HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA🎉🎊🎁🎎
the fact Hinata is still kind to Hiashi after that whole thing is immaculate
Hiashi 💜
I want to see this picture t-t
Happy Birthday Hiashi-san 💜 🥳
And Hizashi.
@@lazyassbum yes 💜
Neji would be so proud 😭😭 I miss him so much
0:01-0:03 *_This is the perfect reply when someone wishes you happy birthday-_*
Hiashi reminds me of my Grandfather, who sadly passed away.
The Dark Knight I’m so sorry to hear that I’m truly am
I cannot deal with just how much Hiashi has become such a soft squish! 😭😭😭❤❤❤😂
There’s something super cute about Hanabi being taller than Hinata 🥺❤️
Papa Hyuga is a lot like many hard men. They become big softies in their old age and especially when you bring grand children into the mix.
He had 2/3 of those in part 1
He's one of the FEW dads in this anime that lived this long
*Cries cuz Neji wasn't even mentioned*
Whah it has been 17 years for them you get over death
The man that called his own daughter a failure and was an overly protective father whenever she had eyes for Naruto, understandably too, is.......a teddy bear to his own grandkids. Wow.
This is prolly one of the most rarest of times we see Hiashi so humanized 😊
Hard to believe this soft guy is the same person who tortured neji
1:38 look at his tongue he really do love his grandpa (not in a weird way just pointing it out)
Naruto literally wooped sense into every clan. My man changed the game.
R.i.P. Uncle Neji!!! 😭😭😭
Remembering how.cold and old minded this man was once to this happy mellow and proud grandfather whos just a.big ol pile of fluff for his grandbabies....brings joy and probably joy to him as well for how he knew.he.used to be....this is just one of many things naruto changed on his way to the top
Hiashi before : 🖤
Hiashi now: 💗
Character development
It’s crazy to think of where Hiashi started to where he ended up!
I like how Hiashi was such a hard ass in the original series now he's just this loving grandpa I love it haha!
Happy Birthday Hisashi and Hizashi Hyuga 🥺🥺🥳🥳🖤
This is a tearjerker🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 naruto really did honor his word too neji I bet he’s smiling up there

I’m so happy to see this.
Remember when he literally shunned Hinata because she lost to hanabi (and technically Hinata didn’t lose, she didn’t want to hurt her sister so she gave up)
This man had grown up to be a great grandpa 😊
I'm happy Hiashi had a very good birthday with his family and I hope there's many more to come in the future. ❤
A man once feared and scary to the Tee, shows what peace and true happiness can do for a person.
Y’all remember how horrible and abusive he was to hinata lol
I do not actually think he was gonna do anything bad to her, if you know Asian parenting (speaking from experience) they tend to be super harsh and pushy to there kids calling them out on all there short comings and pushing them super hard if they see that you could be better you even see it in Shippuden when Hinata flashback to her time after the Chunin exams when she stated training with Neji. If an Japanese dad actually hated you you would not get lectured or told off harshly, you get ignored
If hiashi acted like this infornt of his grandchildren...
.
Imagine if this was fugaku....infornt of his only grandchildren
Naruto can make it to Hiashi birthday but can't make it to his daughters
I've been watching and reading naruto since the beginning and this shit got me... Had me crying
The same man who let Neji die .... for his clan ... and for the village ....
He didnt just *let* him die, he failed to protect him
It was nice to see Boruto getting taught some history lesson about the
past Hyuga. People tend to claim Boruto is a brat that doesn't know
anything about the past. This episode and the last arc shows them
otherwise.
Personal rating 8/10.
Boruto gets so embarrassed in every single situation. Lol I love it
Boruto: ok Now lets go to take another one With your family dad
Naruto: ok lets go
Boruto: wait why we are in the cemetery
Man from serious to a complete comic relief guy how far his charter has changed
This is such a moving moment, it kinda makes me teary.
Ok not kinda, it actually makes me teary
R.i.p Uncle Neji
Such a cute moment when Himawari gave a scarf to Hiashi
Damn Hinata is the older sibling but her sister is taller, I feel that 😂 I’m the oldest and my siblings make me feel short
How tall are you, how tall are they
Joel Hardaway
I’m the oldest out of all my cousins, and yet my oldest cousin and his little brother are taller.
i mean hanabi is 5'7 and hinata is 5'3
Hiashi could’ve used byakugan to immediately see what the gifts were hahaha
Maybe he just wanted to be surprised? XD
Lucas Martinez yeah it’s his grandchildren after all haha
😂
Hiashi has never looked so happy and I stan it!
Boruto: Let's take a family picture every year
My family: Takes pictures every single day
Bro like they gonna remember kawaki instead of boruto in this moment 😭🙆🏽♂️
When you thinking about it so Orochimaru and Tsunade are older than Hiashi lol
And they both look much younger lol.
He shouldn’t look this old . It’s only been 15 years after the war . He looks 80 here . he should probably be in his early 60s
People age differently depending on a number for factors. There's nothing saying a 60 year old can't look like he's 20 years older then he is.
Lucas Martinez literally no one looks 20 years older than they actually are . You can say a 60 yo looks older but you wouldn’t get the age wrong by 20 , 30 years , that’s unheard of . but my point is , They aged him at least 4 decades here . But it’s an anime so not a big deal
Some people age terribly man. This isn't some crazy new thing you heard of.
Looks like having grand kids really changed him. I remember when he used to put curse marks on the lower branch family members and make them serve the main branch
He abolished the curse mark ritual after the chunin exams fight between Naruto vs Neji
Once you achieve your master keikaku you can spend the rest of your time enjoying the benefits
IM NOT CRYING!!!! IM SWEATING THROUGH MY EYES!
0:00 - 0:04 Hiashi making dad noises.
You guys noticed that Hanabi is a bit taller than Hinata?
1:44 same height
@@mr.capman2404 well look at 1:01.
Going to grandparents home,
Before: Boruto
After: Choji
StormwindSakuro hes not fat just pleasantly plump
Man people in these comments just comment how bad they dont like the anime and etc. STOP WATCHING BORUTO THEN! naruto worked so hard just to become hokage and bring peace to the world and bring back sasuke. He did exactly that. Pretty much when yall say yall hate boruto anime and etc your pretty much hating the fact that naruto succeeded with his dreams and jirayas dream as well
I remember when Hiashi was stackin' Sand Village Ninjas in his bath robes and asking for more. Being a grandfather REALLY smoothed out his edginess, as it would for most folks. :P
Aww he's a good grandkid. ^_^
