Yes absolutely. There are times we scroll back at our videos and he enjoys watching them. It's amazing how fast kids grow and within 2 years, the differences in how they look or do things. I always think it's a pain to video and take pictures at times, however you enjoy them 10 fold after the fact. Priceless memories. Glad technology makes it much easier to record in amazing quality. Thank you. Yes it’s fun father and son time. I agree with you, the thought of it is fun however if there’s no easy space to play with it, it’s often like hitting a dead end road. You can transport them in the car but it’s an extra hassle to load the car. If you have 2, you’d have to drive 2 cars unless you had an empty van or pickup truck.

Well I thought it was coming way before Christmas. There were a lot of people that thought that too. But in the end it was like a Christmas present. I can go much faster, but I did that as a safety thing. Can’t have my son going out of site in his kart. That’s what used to happen when I had the same one he had.
I'm getting mines soon, I've seen other unboxing and they had to put each piece together, but yours came almost all assembled. Can't wait!!! BTW, the tires looked like it was dirty??
Congrats on ordering a GoKart Pro. I took both the original one and the Pro out yesterday. What a difference between the 2 karts. I think the original one is great for younger kids but the Pro is better suited for adults. Has a lot more torque for passing power. Yes mine came assembled out of the box. I didn't really have to do anything other than assemble the spoiler section as well as connect the bluetooth speaker strap that holds the speaker in place. Good luck!
Hi Nicholas, I just got my 2 weeks ago , my blue tooth didn’t pair with the speaker so I had to return just a day ago My son rides it down our driveway. Today I took it out to a open carpark, my phone app won’t connect to the go kart, doesnyiur does your work outside your home

There's always something else faster out there but the important thing is that it's fast enough for me. I appreciate the message.

Can you let us know after all this time how well are the wheels holding up? They look like the hard wheels from a back in the day big wheel. Which over time they wore down and got holes in them. Please let us know how they are holding up.
Most of these products use essentially the same type of injection molded plastic wheels for drifting that the very first Marx big wheel used way back in 1969. I have a standard DXT drift trike and huffy green machine and am considering ordering drift trike wheels from Razor for my GM since they have actual bearings and a more durable plastic coating for drifting.

Thanks for the comments. Total height of my garage ceiling is 126”. I had a laser measuring tool which provided the numbers. I have a direct lift 8S at the moment. This will be swapped out for a wider one in March. I found that the i8 is very wide and it’s tricky getting it on the lift (clearing the sides). Ended up ordering their largest lift. Perhaps I should do a video on the lift in the garage. Please subscribe to the channel if you haven’t. Thank you 😊
Another thing to add. I have the Porsche Macan on the bottom which is 62” tall on low mode. If you put 2 cars in that garage bay, your ceilings don’t need to be as high as mine are.
Not yet! I've only kept it in GoKart Mode. I have other stand alone Segways in my garage that I use. Didn't feel like changing modes and installing/uninstalling handles. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for the comment.

Hello. Yes I do have the Direct lift 8S. That lift will be upgraded soon to the Pro Park 9 Plus lift. I found that while I can get my car (i8) on top, the car is pretty wide. I have about 2 inches on both sides to clear. The 8S is a great lift if your car isn’t wide. Both the Porsche Macan GTS and i8 are tight fitting on the top width wise. Ceiling wise I have space. I ordered my lift through Gary Bloom. I highly recommend them if you live in the northeastern United States. They came and did the delivery for me in just a few hours. The use and operation of the lift is very easy. I love how I can make 2 spots out of one garage space. If I didn’t have the Porsche Macan GTS underneath and it was a regular sized car, the higher ceiling requirements aren’t as important. I believe the lift locks every 6 inches for safety. Cost wise, the 8S was about $3800 installed. I can’t say enough about the company that sold and installed the lift for me. I should do a video on the operation of the Direct Lift 8S when I get a chance. Maybe this weekend.

How do you sync the speaker to make actual car sounds? I also bought the digital display for the steering wheel which also makes it easier to switch between speeds.

@@shoumenyuan I wouldn’t take this out onto roads that have lots of traffic. Our street is not very busy so we play for a little bit but have adults spotting to make sure all is clear.
thanks for the video! ❤️ what about using the ninebot S max on the basic gokart kit? same features or something different? in my kit mini pro + gokart kit i noticed that when I go to the maximum and then I do a drift or if I brake, when I re-press the accelerator, this is less reactive and does not give me power immediately this because there is inhibition by the antiphase method, and when you slow down, and then accelerates, the mosfets heat up and cannot give more electricity, and the battery itself is under a lot of load. With the ninebot S max, can you always have maximum power even after braking? I hope so! this would be an important plus compared to the ninebot mini pro. Is the handbrake system the same between the two models? I hope you can answer me. thanks bro
I have not had the chance to move my S max onto my regular go kart kit yet. It’s been cold where I live. Next time I go out in the GoKart I’ll try to take notice of the acceleration after the braking. As for power, I do feel it is more consistent. Yes the handbrake system seems to be the same design.

I am considering getting this kart. But am wondering how long do tires last on this and how much are new ones? Where do you get new tires for this? I think you mentioned it doesn't have a removable battery, when the battery stops holding a charge how do you replace it? How much does a new battery cost? Just wanted to know maintenance cost before I decide to buy one.
Depending on where you order the kit from, some come with the motor, others do not. Pay attention to the details on the sale. If it's below $1000, it's probably just the body without motor.

Ordered the Pro on December 5th from Segway website. Wasn't an original backer... Says ships early January. Have to live with my white standard GoKart for now.
Yes my sons kart setting was on full sport. This was one of the reasons why I bought the pro. With my weight on the original white kart, I couldn’t keep up with him on hills. The Pro version is much faster.

After having the older version and the drift, which one would you say is overall better?!
The pro version that drifts is better. Much more torque and I think it’s worth the extra. I’m thinking of changing the tires to something more grippy.

I was told that you can take the new motor and put it on the old GoKart. I have not tried this but I believe it’s been done already.

It’s decent fast for a small electric GoKart. I’ve been pretty happy with it so far.

Hello. Yes I do have the Direct lift 8S. That lift will be upgraded soon to the Pro Park 9 Plus lift. I found that while I can get my car (i8) on top, the car is pretty wide. I have about 2 inches on both sides to clear. The 8S is a great lift if your car isn’t wide. Both the Porsche Macan GTS and i8 are tight fitting on the top width wise. Ceiling wise I have space.
I ordered my lift through Gary Bloom. I highly recommend them if you live in the northeastern United States. They came and did the delivery for me in just a few hours. The use and operation of the lift is very easy. I love how I can make 2 spots out of one garage space. If I didn’t have the Porsche Macan GTS underneath and it was a regular sized car, the higher ceiling requirements aren’t as important. I believe the lift locks every 6 inches for safety. Cost wise, the 8S was about $3800 installed. I can’t say enough about the company that sold and installed the lift for me. I should do a video on the operation of the Direct Lift 8S when I get a chance. Maybe this weekend.

How do you sync the speaker to make actual car sounds? I also bought the digital display for the steering wheel which also makes it easier to switch between speeds.

The speaker takes shifts but doesn’t down shift. I think that should be added for a more gas-like experience.

@@shoumenyuan I wouldn’t take this out onto roads that have lots of traffic. Our street is not very busy so we play for a little bit but have adults spotting to make sure all is clear.

in my kit mini pro + gokart kit i noticed that when I go to the maximum and then I do a drift or if I brake, when I re-press the accelerator, this is less reactive and does not give me power immediately this because there is inhibition by the antiphase method, and when you slow down, and then accelerates, the mosfets heat up and cannot give more electricity, and the battery itself is under a lot of load. With the ninebot S max, can you always have maximum power even after braking? I hope so! this would be an important plus compared to the ninebot mini pro.
Is the handbrake system the same between the two models? I hope you can answer me. thanks bro
I have not had the chance to move my S max onto my regular go kart kit yet. It’s been cold where I live. Next time I go out in the GoKart I’ll try to take notice of the acceleration after the braking. As for power, I do feel it is more consistent. Yes the handbrake system seems to be the same design.

I am considering getting this kart. But am wondering how long do tires last on this and how much are new ones? Where do you get new tires for this? I think you mentioned it doesn't have a removable battery, when the battery stops holding a charge how do you replace it? How much does a new battery cost? Just wanted to know maintenance cost before I decide to buy one.

Depending on where you order the kit from, some come with the motor, others do not. Pay attention to the details on the sale. If it's below $1000, it's probably just the body without motor.

If you buy the Ninebot Go Kart Pro's spoiler separately, can you mount it to the regular white go kart?
I'd imagine that you can. You may need to affix it with an epoxy.

What number were you for the campaign?
Ordered the Pro on December 5th from Segway website. Wasn't an original backer... Says ships early January. Have to live with my white standard GoKart for now.
The one using it as a segway they did include the handlebards it seems you showed in the clip?
I believe the Segway came with the bar that you use your knees to control the motion. There was no handlebar itself.
Does the pro still fine to this day and did you need to do any repairs

Yes my sons kart setting was on full sport. This was one of the reasons why I bought the pro. With my weight on the original white kart, I couldn’t keep up with him on hills. The Pro version is much faster.
