I filmed this the day before Michael (BaitChuckin) posted his WM Red Pearl video challenging other makers to join in. Go figure!! Something must have been in the air that weekend, LOL! Having played with a red pearl belly on this one, I've got some ideas for my contribution to Michael's challenge. For THIS video though - what, if anything, would you change? Drop a comment below - would love to hear your thoughts!
Well thank you much, but I can't take all the credit, or even most, LOL! That tail laminates so well because of the quality of the mold - Epic does some amazing work to be sure!
Those are beautiful baits. You could see a hint of a red hue along the laminate line. Very cool way to get that line. Can't wait to see them in action. Be blessed. My friend.
Thanks Mike! After the video I was looking over the baits again and totally agree - even said the same to myself for future re-dos! Great minds my friend, great minds :)
One of my favorite ways you film is uncut. I have to say those baits are amazingly good looking. The flake was not overwhelming and I like that, even though I am a flake fanatic. I think you have a perfect recipe indeed 😊
Yup, 100%. Not sure why... something about capturing the shimmer when the light hits it just right. Frustrating for sure! LOL. Thanks for watching man!
Looks great 👍 I do not have 8- bits products as of yet. But I've made close to this with Violet sparkle flex and just a little. 015 fire red in the top. But after this I like the green. Good stuff. Can't wait for the watermelon challenge.
If wish you to experiment with color, Stanley use to make a craw worm that was light rootbeer plastic with extra fine green flakes and larger square copper flakes. Looks great and catches fish, but they discontinued it.
LOL, that was a blast... crappy net jobs and all! I do, indeed, sell stuff but only as I can via bait drops. You can jump on the mailing list via my website and/or follow me on Instagram where I announce every drop (if you do the latter and turn on notifications for my profile you'll get a phone alert so you can get to the site before it sells out... baits tend to go quickly these days!). Thanks James!
Well not sure if it would work but if you could try a triple injection in a 3.2" Epic Slouch with a de-find brighter red line between the top color and belly it might just work. I. enjoy watching your videos along with Michael, and Chris Jones . I have just a few more things to buy and then I will be able to start making baits. May have to ask Questions about how to get stated in making a UA-cam channel
@@SDGCustomLurecraft yea definitely looks good and should get bit. I don't have a dual injector yet so I can only make single colors. That's why I love color shifts. Mixing lure works blaze orange and pure works jelly apple red dye makes a cool orange to pink color. Idk if it's a legit color shifts but crappie love it
I do when I have to. Fresh plastic from Baitplastics rarely, if ever, needs to be vacced, its awesome stuff. The cups in this video were not vacced and you can see the quality. Remelt, on the other hand, ALWAYS has to be vacced. Also, by the time I get to the bottom 1/3 or so of a jug, I need to start vaccing as moisture has made its way in over time. I use a 3 gallon BAC I got off Amazon. $140-150 setup I believe... popular option with the orange lid and pump. I show it in the video just before this one where I remelt a bunch of cups to make Bladed Slayers.
Have a question: do you keep the purge samples on some sorta plastic sleeve with dates so you can always refer back to the recipe on the video and yes is my second time watching this one 👍
LOL, love it man! I don't keep the purge piles or sprues as I can always refer back to the video itself for the recipe (and that's assuming I haven't already written it down!). They all go in the trash, but the leftovers in the cup (separate colors) - now THOSE I do keep and will remelt into either more of the same or a different color.

The lamination in the tails of the Grubbenvorst! OMG! Perfection. You are the very best bait creator out there❤
Wooops autocorrect in dutch! Grubbenvorst = grubs!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 sorry

LOL! I was following :)
Luv ❤That mold , Luv ❤That size , Luv❤ That color 🤙😎👊
Sweet! Thats a win-win-win!
You absolutely crushed that color, love the twist you put on that great color. Thanks for sharing.
@@BarDownBaits thanks man! Glad you liked it - appreciate you watching!
Another great looking bait. Can’t go wrong with enhancing a bait with 8 bit goodies. Thanks for sharing.
Man, aint that the truth! Thank ya much!

@@JoeHazlet thank you much! So stinkin’ hard to get that to show on camera, so I’m glad you could see a bit!
Can't wait to see you do the watermelon red pearl that Michael challenged everybody to
Yea, I'm noodlin' on a few ideas!
I love these uncut videos! I learn a lot from them. I love the pro blue. Maybe a tiny bit less blue highlight if I changed anything. It looks great!!!
Thanks Mike! After the video I was looking over the baits again and totally agree - even said the same to myself for future re-dos! Great minds my friend, great minds :)
I gotta do everything around here. Best line ever. Thanks for the entertainment! Oh, and the great video. Great lookin baits as always.

Nailed it, Great job Adam
Thanks Rich! Glad you liked it!
Very nice job Adam! Look great! As always, thank you for sharing!
Thanks David!
Great job! Very simple but with one heck of a kick. Almost sure they will catch a lot of fish.
Yes indeed, its often the simple ones that are the most effective!

Thanks man! Yup, this one called for a "chef's kiss" vs overload... which it tough as I like me some flake as well! Restraint is beneficial at times!
Amazing color 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks man! Truly appreciated!
Lovin the uncut👊👊👊
Sweet man, thx! Glad you enjoyed it!
Those look awesome. Thanks for another great bait recipe
Thanks Jeff, my pleasure!
Sick. Now those will catch some good ones.
Thanks man! I tend to agree!
Tough to see the red on camera, but agree, it is a beautiful bait!

Great Job Adam. They turned out Amazing! I’d love to see you take on the Challenge that Michael put out I watched his episode 🍻
Thanks Scott! Yeah, I’m noodlin’ on an idea or two, we shall see!
Another great video
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Awesome colors
Thx Casey!
@SDGCustomLurecraft your welcome SDGCustomLurecraft
I love this format, very real and involving!
Colour is very nice too! Wondering if some pixie dust would have been nice in the belly...
@@Marcuccioperca thanks man, glad you enjoyed it! I’m sure PD would have been a nice add, I’ve it a little extra pizzazz!

Adam, I keep watching your shudder bait video, and I 😂can't stop laughing. That one is definitely a great one.

I'm sure that would, indeed, be killer! All the best as you look to start the craft!
What size is your injector? That is some awesome baits there!
Thanks man! I use an 8oz Dual made by N2. There's a link to it in the video description if you want to see the details.
It's called pro blue red. It looks different in person, the back is a dark blue, belly is red hi lite. It's a very popular shad color
Yeah, seems like everyone has their own, but similar name for it. She's a beaut though, no doubt!

What kind of shelving do you use on your paint table?
Not sure I know what table you're talking about. If you mean my lead paints, its just pegboard with hangers and wood boards.
Do you vacuum your plastic? If so, do you mind sharing which one you use
