Yeah I have notice the Ai sometimes just pass it around the back for long periods not noticed it as much since changing the Ai behaviour but I will keep this in mind.
@@Yorkiemann noticed that too. In my Blackburn career was beating Oxford 3-0 but their defenders were happy to keep passing the ball to each other in their own half with no interest in attacking. Ewood Park is in the game now yet Portman Road isn’t. Strange that. Maybe EA know something we don’t.

I might adjust the sliders just a bit on my next save though because there just needs to be more goals. Too many is unrealistic but so is too few
Same settings here but finding a massive inconsistency. AI Opponents are either extremely aggressive or extremely passive, there are very few games that are just balanced and competitive. I thought it might have to do with the other set of AI sliders, the ones you can set to custom, tactical, or dynamic, but I messed with those and ot didn't make a lot of difference.
I’m 15 games in my wolves career mode and we’ve scored a whopping 13 goals yet we’re in 6th, I like the gameplay defensively, but there needs to be more going on attacking wise. The ai are happy to pass it around the back all game, and for the user, there’s no forward runs, the wingers and CMS stand still so your striker is stranded
@@100percentSNAFU Personally for me, I felt your first thought about the other set of AI sliders was true too. Tactical and Dynamic are absolutely unbalanced and should NOT be used if you want relatively balanced gameplay. You can see this by pausing in a game when they are active and going into settings and even on Tactical it fluctiuates way more than it should. I'm not educated enough on game development but I feel like this should have been better implemented honestly. I would say just use Custom or set up your own that fluctuate slightly but stay clear of Tactical and Dynamic. Dynamic is supposedly more extreme than Tactical but even Tactical fluctuates up to values of 90 which is just braindead. Maybe this has been or will be patched though, I hope so and then I might try it out again However even with Custom AI behavior, what you are describing might still be a thing.. I've tried Legendary and Ultimate on this Fifa and let me tell you, dont go anywhere near it. It's unplayable for me, I read a Reddit post that said skill level caps at World Class and the other 2 just make the user team worse which I couldnt agree more with.. that's how I felt this year whereas in Fifa 23 which was the last version I played, I could easily play against Legendary on OS sliders I don't have a solution to what you are describing but World Class and Simulation sliders with some adjustments or World Class OS sliders with some adjustments are pretty damn good. I still need to change it up a bit because the opposition teams unfortunately pass the ball around the backline in the 90th when they are losing by 1 goal lmao idk how to fix that but it ruins immersion. In addition I still don't score or concede enough goals so I'll probably buff some sliders like AI shot frequency and buildup speed and maybe nerf gk ability and so on. In my first season in a Sunderland save, I scored like 20+ goals less than teams around me and conceded the fewest by far. I think my goalkeeper had double the clean sheets next to the runner up which ruins immersion for me
@@jammyjam123 Totally relate to your experience. I see a lack of goals this year way more so than in previous years. I don't think Simulation or OS sliders are complete. I also think this is an issue with the game itself this year, I think you need to experiment with sliders yourself to find the right fit which is a bit annoying and I'm still trying to find the right mix for me. AI passing it around the back all game has never been as bad as it is this year.. For me it was even worse on Legendary and Ultimate. On World Class it's less of that I felt but it's still there and it's super frustrating. I read some reddit posts about it so it's clearly a widespread issue. I started a create a club save in League 2 which I have since abandoned (because I put realistic fitness/sharpness recovery on and it's just unplayable for me) anyway in that save the AI in one game specifically passed it around the back the whole of the 2nd half and would run back all the way to the goalkeeper if I pressed lmao the new tactics system doesn't help really because it's harder to figure out how to press the AI in that kind of situation, at least for me. That was on Ultimate difficulty I think
@@leiva3364 yh I had to play around with custom settings for a week or two, by first copying the simulation settings and then tweaking it as I went along. I’ve made my players slightly faster than the AI, and increased their attacking regularity, though at the moment, just depends what the individual team is like which I think is quite good. I’ve got it to a point where the ai still for me doesn’t take as many shots or get the ball forward as much as they should, it’s still enjoyable, just need to slowly increase their attack to find the right balance now
I also copied the simulation sliders into a custom slider set and adjusted them. I play on World Class difficulty and while the CPU has quite a bit of shots on goal, my goalkeepers seems to save them all. The CPU only seemed to score from rebound of goalkeeper saves, when the goalie's already down. So I adjusted the slider to make the goalkeeper save less shots, which seems to have helped. I also hate how the CPU just keeps on running with the ball without playing the ball around looking for an opening. So I decreased CPU dribbling frequency to 10 and increased CPU first touch pass frequency. That doesn't seem to do much though.
I have been tweaking my own Simulation sliders based on the suggested ones. However, I hadn't tried tweaking the AI Behaviour yet, so thank you so much for suggestion. Also, it is so good to hear someone express exactly the same positive feeling that I also have for this year's edition. I honestly love it

Almost same, am on tactical in the cpu sliders, gametype simulation and playing with legendary difficulty, it makes alot of sense. On custom or classic players run are unrealistic and move too fast and this makes realistic build up play hard cause its easy to go from defense to attack
I thought they were pretty good overall, the sprint speed was ultimately too low for me. I found 40 to be the sweet spot, where guys weren't flying around, but also they weren't in that hamster wheel where their legs are moving disproportionately fast compared to the amount of ground they're covering.
Its nice cuz every game feels different.. more realistic.. u can tell difference between playing vs a top club vs a small weaker club.. huge difference
I'm still having the same problems as old versions of the game where weaker teams are overpowered and stronger teams are underpowered. When I see a game coming up on the schedule against one of the bottom teams in the league I expect it to be not just ridiculously hard but also rigged against me with bad officiating and untackleable and uncatchable opponents.
If I play on Professional difficulty, I don't have challenge. If i go for world class i can't touch the ball . The Ai is passing like crazy even if they have more first touch error that user. Also sometimes i feel like my players are from cardboard. Ai team is so strong. I do a tackle after tackle and the ball is also on the opponent
Increasing cpu first touch error up to 80 makes the AI way less strong. If you keep it at 50, its extremely difficult to steal the ball even with 2 on 1 pressing.
I like to play slow buildup and I find the Simulation run frequency unusable, there's only so many times I can have my players ignore my run request and pass it sideways in a flat midfield 3 before I uninstall
I'm using simulation settings as well lots of low scoring matches the only issue i've had is the lack of sprint speed so fast players have little to no effect. I've noticed the passing being slower etc doesn't seem to effect the ai as much as it does your players.
AI behavior sliders seem broken in my experience. I started out with tactical setting and had the same problems you describe. I checked them during a few matches and saw the sliders for tackle aggression and skill moves cranked up to 98, which made it unplayable with 53 rated opponents making moves like Pelé, and every AI player lunging at me recklessly when I had the ball. Changed it to custom with everything set at 50 and nothing seemed to change.
You have to make sure to change the gameplay settings in the main menu AND in career mode settings. They also have to be exactly the same changes or nothing will change. Idk it’s like this but it is.
I have a Liverpool career on the base simulation settings but with dynamic AI behaviour and I’m not even in january and had 3/4 bad injuries on key players(Gakpo,Robertson,McAllister, each for 2-3 months). So there are injuries, at least for me…
Playing Man City and Liverpool on World Class is just 90 mins defending panic no matter what formation or tactics I use. Think i'm gonna go custom AI behaviour using the recommended settings towards the end of this video.
I've been seeing many folks saying to put AI Behaviour Sliders to Custom and to leave everything on 50. The rationale was that on tactical, AI changes the gameplay. Leaving it on custom allows for games to be based on player attributes and team tactics. If AI gets a boost, it can cause low table teams to start playing like prime Barcelona like you stated. Lots of folks are using Simulation Sliders with Custom AI Behaviour sliders and leaving everything on 50.
I’m sure you’ve played a lot since this comment, would u say it’s best to leave it at 50 or copy these settings?I like it’s being competitive I play on ultimate also
@@hectorvalencia6971 I still use similar to what I use in this video but I would recommend leaving them on 50 and then tweaking from there if you don’t get many tackles and want more up the tackle aggression up and the same for the rest to cater to a play style you like most.
Just tried this after reading your comment and it really does work, sometimes you can mess around with the sliders too much and end up making it a worse game. Custom with everything left on 50 really makes for a realistic solid game for me.
These look really good, going to try them and hope to find a good balance. Really looking forward to something in the middle of world class and legendary. I’m too good for world class but not you’re good enough for legendary. So hard to find a balance
Only issue I have had is my players not making runs and I think this on the cpu slider part but the tackle aggression is crazy I have seen it shoot up to 90 and it makes it impossible to take on more than 1 player and say I’m playing with a 86+ dribbler I want to be able to beat a few players obviously I don’t Want it to happen all the time but I do want to be able to beat a few men
There is such a big difference in opinion of this game from career mode players vs FUT and online players. Do you find the AI players cross way more than previous years? In fifa 23 players mever crossed and still sruck to the meta in career mode
@Yorkiemann well that's a massive improvement from my experience with FIFA 23 where the ai opponent in career mode literally never changes it's style from the UT meta
@@VisionofTomo yeah agreed I must admit once you’ve played a lot it dose feel a little more repetitive but overall with the new sliders it’s far better this year
After adjusting the CPU behaviour, have you seen differences between teams or all of them play the same? Do the team tactics actually make a difference or the CPU behaviour sliders have a bigger impact? I have just tried until now tactical and dynamic and I am afraid by adjusting the CPU behaviour that every opponent will feel the same...
So it’s a very small sample size but I’ve played a promoted side and found it’s far easier then played a tittle challenger and massively struggled and lost the game so it doesn’t seem that the better teams do still feel different.
The injury thing is just not true. I just had 5 out of 15 games where my players were getting injured. Varied from 5 day injuries to 3 months. I think I had between 5-8 injuries in the span of these games playing with Osasuna in Spain. Devestating for my season, but fun for the experience.
I’m just going off my experience and past experiences I’ve still only had one injury over two saves but it’s great to see lots of other people are finding them selfs in situations where they have several players out.
I'm just getting minor injuries. Nothing major yet. I think a lot of the dynamic for injury frequency is not just in the slider settings but also depends on player stamina. Players lower in stamina during a match will get injured more easily. Using a stamina intensive tactic like counterattack or a high pressing will drain stamina quicker, or of course if you are not rotating the squad enough and playing the same players every match their stamina will drain quicker over time. I'm not really having the issue yet because I rotate a lot and I use a more possession based tactic and don't really press much so my players stamina stays reasonable. I am only in November in my first save but in older versions of the game I did notice that as you get further into the season more players will get injured and stamina burns off quicker regardless of your tactics. That's actually fairly realistic.
no it works the other way round so basically if you increase shot error they will be more likely to miss and the same for pass error if you increase there will be more wayward passes if you decrease the ai will be more accurate hope this helps
Very interesting stream and interested in your evolution of the settings. So for AI teams to exploit their custom slider settings the AI team has to have the ability in the first place? For example will Rovers v Morecambe see Morcambe play at a Premier level because of the AI sliders? Looking for the next instalment. Comments welcome. Oh and Travis injured in game 4 and out for 3 months
So far from playing bigger sides feel far better then the weaker sides do I’m not sure if this will translate to the lower leagues but I came feel the difference when playing a Man City or Liverpool to say Southampton.
I have been using the sim slider set and custom just a few changes too them it’s annoying. Also that they don’t carry over from settings to career gotta do it every career mode it’s really annoying haha but they play so well
Good one.. I've been doing this because I can't play EA football game without tweaking the sliders. The default was made for kids. The freedom EA gave in fc 25 is good nice one. Now we're in full control of how the game play now. The folks that are still complaining out there have no idea they actually can control everything now.
Yo man, do you find when you changed the AI behaviour to custom it made it repetitive when playing the same team? Or even game to game or did you notice a difference? I currently use dynamic AI behaviour but haven’t tried anything else yet.
No I still quite often got my ass kicked by the bigger sides and felt like a lot of the smaller sides where now a little easier so I enjoyed the balance
Lmao yeah deffo tweak it I put mine to high at one point and all they did is cross when they hit the byline so it could be worth tweaking depending on the offence they have in terms of striker
I find the ai alters all the sliders you set it to during games and a career mode if your beating the game. The game itself is coded to cheat you during games all the time to fuck you up. Just as you've learnt how to do everything and play instead of the game playing the way it should it stops you from doing anything in the game. The game cheats all the time no matter what game difficulty you choose and choose the sliders settings, the game is just shite all over as everything then becomes impossible from passing, to tackling to switching players, celebrations also don't work at all. The game sucks big time nothing actually works
Are you using tactics that use a lot of stamina, and/or are you having issues with the training not getting your players up to full stamina? I have noticed that low stamina can be a big factor in players getting long term injuries. If they are tired they are more likely to get injured, and it's often more major injuries of the many months sort rather than the few days sort.
Bro you’re wild for saying injuries don’t happen in the game, I had mine at 60 and had to turn it down, I legit was going on 5 straights games of injuries for both teams.
@@Yorkiemannyou have to make sure you go to the home screen go to settings and make sure injuries and bookings are turned on. Second year in a row this has been off by default. Took me a whole season of no cards until I realized what was happening

Simulation seems fine but i have real problems with my team mates just refusing to make any runs forward. So frustrating! Liking the gameplay apart from that
Simulation feels slow and not enough excitement in games for my liking. I currently play world class with dynamic mode on and classic sliders, but like most people i find world class too easy and legendary bit too hard. Also wish they would do something about the slow clunky team plan screen as it's still very annoying trying to swap players around ect.
I agree, the matches are tight, low scoring which I like personally but after playing a season of career mode, I just cant get over the frustration when a player without the bsll when is sprinting, they run like they're on steroids with nitros attached to them. I don't like changing the default slideers as for me the game starts acting strange and unplayable, defenders not sprinting even with R2, first touch skipping animations and msking the touch look wierd and unrealistic on occasions, sprint not working fir some attacking players and this is all just by keeping all sim sliders the same but just decreasing acceleration (reason for players closing down like they're on steroids) from 55 to 40-45). Even watching your video, the closing down looks unrealistically fast but decreasing the acceleration breaks the gameplay for me. Frustrating.
Can anyone help me. I’m playing on old gen and my defence is always so open and my players never run when loosing the ball. I’m holding RT but they just like jog back it’s so annoying as well as going forward when there is a loose ball.
Try decreasing user first touch error, and increase CPU first touch error. It doesn't just effect first touch, it's really effects reaction in 50/50 and you will feel less cheated byvthe AI. Just don't over do the imbalance and make it too easy for you.
You have to use the assist defense mechanic, especially double tapping the button,it makes to where your defenders run to their guy and leave them no room u have to press or they’ll stand like idiots, also maybe increase the marking on the sliders so that they can play them closer with no interaction from u
@@Yorkiemann I don't know how you do it i gave it an try it was fucking hard and i have no time to adapt to it so slow especially in bundesliga with Bayer Leverkursen team that isn't wasting that much time on slow build ups but fast insted.

Only issue I have had is my players not making runs and I think this on the cpu slider part but the tackle aggression is crazy I have seen it shoot up to 90 and it makes it impossible to take on more than 1 player and say I’m playing with a 86+ dribbler I want to be able to beat a few players obviously I don’t Want it to happen all the time but I do want to be able to beat a few men
@@Wysp.0 yeah agree I think player runs is terrible right now players will just stand still and do nothing
I've put my injuries up to 75 for both I have already had4 injuries all 3 months out with broken toe don't they know anything else
Hmm I’ve got mine on 80 now and still nothing really but it’s good to see a lot more people are getting Injury’s
@@Yorkiemann why always broken toes strange
@@kevindye2176 this game loves a broken toe and a bruised shoulder
@@Yorkiemann sure does thank you
There is such a big difference in opinion of this game from career mode players vs FUT and online players.
Do you find the AI players cross way more than previous years? In fifa 23 players mever crossed and still sruck to the meta in career mode
It’s hard to say beacuse I use a slider that encourages players to cross more often so I find there is a lot more crosses!
Injuries only happen to me in player career. Don’t think I’ve managed to last a full season yet
looks like the sim sliders got rid of all that ice skating nonsense
@@100percentSNAFU hmm be interesting to see if they get more now I’m in season two
does shot Shot Error to the left decrease accuracy or to the right decrease accuracy?
same question with the Pass Error.
no it works the other way round so basically if you increase shot error they will be more likely to miss and the same for pass error if you increase there will be more wayward passes if you decrease the ai will be more accurate hope this helps
Is Simulation Sliders for Sim Match?
I do believe it is effects how the sims work but don’t have confirmation
I’m gunna try changing the cross frequency for CPU coz played Bayern Munich with Kane upfront and didn’t cross once lol
Lmao yeah deffo tweak it I put mine to high at one point and all they did is cross when they hit the byline so it could be worth tweaking depending on the offence they have in terms of striker
@@Yorkiemanndo you keep your passing and shouting on assistant?
i only tactical sim/normal sim and dont actually play the game, are those sliders any useful ?(since i lose and draw often when in sim.) cheers
Does this setting carry into online matches like ultimate team?
No it only carry’s for the career mode you’ve started if you was to start another you would have to set your settings again.
im playing sim and my team is riddled with injuries son, maddison, odobert, solanke all injured
@@JKNKAK1 maybe it’s just me then one had one to Brennan and that was it
yh the injury frquency is quite high but the severity is low. may need to adjust it
Are you using tactics that use a lot of stamina, and/or are you having issues with the training not getting your players up to full stamina? I have noticed that low stamina can be a big factor in players getting long term injuries. If they are tired they are more likely to get injured, and it's often more major injuries of the many months sort rather than the few days sort.
Wait I got 2 injuries in my first game and now have players out for months, I wanted to reduce it not increase the injuries lol...
😂😂 yeah I’m just a sucker for punishment bring on the injury crisis
Where’s episode 10?
New season starts tomoz pal Monday and Friday eps from now on at 11am gmt
Bro you’re wild for saying injuries don’t happen in the game, I had mine at 60 and had to turn it down, I legit was going on 5 straights games of injuries for both teams.
Hahaha I’m hearing this a lot more now must just be my save at the moment but glad to see lots of people are having injury issues
@@Yorkiemannyou have to make sure you go to the home screen go to settings and make sure injuries and bookings are turned on. Second year in a row this has been off by default. Took me a whole season of no cards until I realized what was happening
@@totti89228 I have both turned on I’ve had an injury but I will deffo keep double checking to make sure they stay on.
I'm getting a lot of minor knocks and things like that, mostly stuff the players run off during the match or at worst a few days for a bruised shoulder or pulled muscle. No major ones yet for me.
@@100percentSNAFU it seems that a lot of people are having very different experiences with the game
It’s far too easy when your team gets momentum and players are in form. Playing on ultimate and feels like world class from fifas gone by
Simulation seems fine but i have real problems with my team mates just refusing to make any runs forward. So frustrating! Liking the gameplay apart from that
@@Derxius from what I’m hearing is if you up the run frequency it’s a lot better
What is the camera angle you used in this video ??
i believe its the ea cam
Yo I like to watch the games anyone got some fire sliders?
I tried it it is way to slow and impossible to score goals how do i master it?
It’s all about slow build up and being patient with the sim settings for me
@@Yorkiemann I don't know how you do it i gave it an try it was fucking hard and i have no time to adapt to it so slow especially in bundesliga with Bayer Leverkursen team that isn't wasting that much time on slow build ups but fast insted.
@ I would say that I moved away from the sim sliders and made tweaks like player runs and I changed the speed to 40 for both also and pass speed to 48 so with tweaks it can be a lot of fun but it is time consuming.
@@Yorkiemann Is it much more realistic way to play and not that slow speed and acceleration aswell?
@ I would say it feels more realistic but with that means much lower scoring games unless you go to 6 mins plus for half lengths
The gameplay is worse yet for me
It’s like running on sand
It’s been getting progressively worse as the years gone on.
Die pässe sind echt lahm, nicht gut
I think the passing is the worst it’s been this year
