I don't know what I would do without these videos! I'm just starting and I was completely lost, until I for you gentlemen. Thank you guys and keep the videos coming!
Thanks for watching them :) No one helped us when we started and it was f*cked. takes so much longer to learn when you're just fumbling around in the dark. Happy to pass the torch and help out where we can. its what were here for
yeah they are really useful for doing blends. defs give 0.35 sized needles a go though, they are super handy for doing solid fills. 0.40 needles are a lot less common as well but they are event better you can do solid fills without even doing ovals they are so thiccccc.
you can get away with not using rounds but its defintely worht experimenting with if you havent already. never hurts to have a more tools to get the job done :)
Succinctly presented, and that light-hearted part of the worn-toothbrush-like needle cracked me up! (Just what the brain needs to open up and absorb material later). It would have helped if there were more visuals showing the cross-section of the needles as with the RS vs RL - English is not my first language and Nathan talks really fast. I had to rewatch a couple of times to understand some parts. I appreciate the highly-professional style of this video overall; it’s important to set high standards in this industry. It is an art and business that makes tattoo artists proud and adds to a healthy identity when executed appropriately.
Thanks for watching them :). Id reccomend learning black and grey first. way easier and faster to pick up. once you are making an income with tattoing from doing black and grey then you can start experimenting with color and it will be way easier to get down because you already know how to use the mag from doing b&g
Just to let you guys know they have a course that's waaaaay better than these videos .... Buy the course I SWEAR it will speed up the progress and give you a waaay better understanding

I ussualy only use round liners and curved mags, but i used a range of these depending of the designs

@Tattooing101 ive used round shaders ,but mostly for outlines that were soft but rarely have used them.
