Take on the role of a drone with the ability to design and build robots for your everyday needs! Find unique ways to overcome various challenges in singleplayer or jump into the Sandbox and craft and play alone or with other players.
Challenge yourself and your friends to create the most exciting looking robot using a freeform crafting tool and modular parts! Change your robots color palette to make it your own!
Put your personal touch on your drone through different paint jobs and collectible cosmetic items earned by playing the game!
By using the nodes in the powerful visual programming interface, you can set up controls for your robot. After getting the hang of it, you can dig deep into it and use Sensors to make logic for different types of automation.
Your robots will take damage if they crash, fall, or take a hammer to the face! Advanced destruction systems enable bending chassis and damage that effects robot behavior. But don’t worry, you can iterate to improve and respawn your robot as many times as you like.
Join in on the multiplayer fun to create and play with others in an open sandbox environment. Load any robot you create in singleplayer or build completely new ones under the watchful gaze of your friends.

Thanks for featuring my plane! There are couple of things I want to point out. When you first crashed the plane, the airspeed tube got clipped first so it did not damaged the head. During the second crash, some parts fell underwater so the game thinks you are underwater. When you tried to land, the approaching speed should be around 120km/h and there are flaps so you should have used that. Not all the gauges on the instruments panels are usable. I only made a few of them usable to preserve my sanity. Building this plane was the most painful thing I have ever done in this game.
I love this plane! It’s hilarious how main assembly has a better looking x29 than flightgear now. The build is amazing!

Fun fact: the second creation you looked at was an experimental aircraft that was designed to be very manuverable, but because of the way it was built it could literally tear it's self apart without the help of computers. So because there was so many redundancys just to keep it together it wasent as good as they thought and it was scrapped
That plane with the backwards Wings was Notorious for being incredibly hard to fly and needing like more than two incredibly powerful computers to fly it and a couple as a fallback system in case the some failed. All in all it sucked and it was incredibly dangerous. If all of the flight computers failed the entire plane would be shredded into pieces in a couple of seconds that's how bad at flying it was.

If I'm correct the gremlin was a prototype fighter jet with wings that bend forward instead of backwards. It flies better in the game than in real life
All I could think when you spoke of the penguin wanting to go somewhere, was the Bahamas quite "your tiny robot is trying to go somewher e"

Just something ScrapMan missed; The Grumman X-29's fins at the back of the engine move depending on Throttle %. Whoever made that jet, congratulations on all the detail work!
For some reason I stopped watching ScrapMan a while back and came back to the exact same games and intro. Thanks for the nostalgia, man.

You should do a penguin survival challenge and perhaps give him lasers or something.
the grumman x-29, at least I think, was designed to be incredibly agile. its forward swept wings constantly pushed air over the control surfaces, thus making it more agile.
the forward swept wings were also a detriment, however, as their design put a lot of aerodynamic strain on the wings and fuselage, so it required a computer to assist its flight or it would tear itself apart.

I built a zero-core ornithopter in Trailmakers that was very similar to this. It flies, turns glides etc. It's called the Gull.
That is one aggressive penguin. It actually broke me.
when a bird ornithopter you made for fun and also took a lot of time into for some reason because I liked it instantly when it started working and I felt the need to improve it over time gets featured on youtube

dont know how I found this video so quickly but I was just bored searching up robots and ended up searching ornithopter for the 100th time in my life to find my creation in a thumbnail
ok need to sleep now tysm for featuring my baby boye (sorry for anyone who found it difficult I guess im just kinda good at it being the one who constantly tested it(yes i know the controls might be weird for others but thats what came to me naturally, its manual because I felt like automatic didnt give enough of the "being a bird" experience, and its easier to change the flap pace when its manual))
also you chouldnt find it using "ornithopter" because it was misspelled as "Ornithoptor", I fixed it though.
Scrapman, here's a multi-player Monday idea.
That player seeking penguin, either use that or build one yourself basing it on that.
Make a challenge where everyone needs to build a vehicle that is agile enough to get away from that penguin, but everyone need to have a top speed lower than the penguin's, it's a challenge of maneuverability and pure skill at building and driving.
Now that's a fun thing to watch isn't it?

Due to the size of the wheels monster trucks can float and if you have deep enough grooves can also drive over water

Thats a really cool Video again, thank you so much! I really liked the tracking penguin, so I thought how about you guys do a dodge-the-penguin(s)-race/battle in Multiplayer Main Assembly? That would be so cool! For determining wether the penguin got you or not you could kinda give the penguins lasers that tell him, when he aimes at someone and then activate guns or so... I dunno...
Or you could do a Ornithopter race XD

I made improvements to the Bird ornithopter's soaring, flapping and turning. turns out Aero plastic for the body isnt a good idea if you want the creation to glide more smoothly through the air, and not fall close to a 45 degree angle. I gotta remember that aero plastic is for moving the air, not moving through it X/ (I wonder if aero materials can move water?)

You should do a survival challenge with the penguin, maybe on a flatter map

Thrusters work underwater, because they and rocket engines too have their fuel in them thelves and don't need air to work , unlike jet engines. That's why the work in vacuum and water
Please do more best builds in main assembly
