I'm an APS gunner, but I built a CRAM ship recently for testing. I'm accustomed to my guns firing rapidly and hitting their target, CRAMs don't do this, so I only use timed frag shells; Even a complete miss will still do significant damage.

This here is a really critical bit of information to know: Angled incidence kinetic damage reduction (such as wedges, but any damage reduction from hitting at an angle) carries through each block to the next airgap. So for instance, if the first block is a 4m wedge and the next a flat beam, the flat beam is gaining the same reduction as the 4m wedge because it carries over until an airgap is reached. If the first is a 4m wedge, and the next is an ERA block- no dr carry-over. Also on tfi fuse: Each .01 on the fuse equates to 3m, on a 300m/s shell. So eg, .04 is 12m in if it hasn't been slowed.
If is the heavy armor marauder from this video is based on your design theory maybe you could have made it a beat in the video after you showcase the experiment. Also you could make that boat the subject of its own video 5-6 minutes (or, just as long as you want) if you would like to talk about it more. But that's just a game theory.
More FTD videos would be nice from you, can you do a campaign?

Oh so the reduction gets Zeroed after an airgap? Wow good to know
if you go to the v menu you can select damage debugging and look at the damage that way, it can be very useful
Yes it is very useful! I use it sometimes but mostly for fast shells when I don't have time to see

No, for deflectional detonations you need yhe inertial fuse.
