    Next to my little FW L-39 80mm, I AM WAY BEYOND JEALOUS! Awesome flying friend, and thanks again for the outstanding camera work (you have a slight edge on Bobby!) and flying skills.

    Do you worry about the foam holding up to the fuel? It seems inevitable that it's going to get on something at some point in time.

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  4 місяці тому +2

      Nope, not at all. You dont spill fuel on the foam. It's pretty simple. No liquids have access to the foam. You always check for leaks on turbines, whether it be composite or foam. This isn't your cheap eflite type foam.its as hard as wood.

      @@RCPlaneReviewer OK cool so its the SW80B? I am thinking about getting the KT 102G5 and specs state its literally the same size as the SW but the KT is about 1.5oz heavier. I am guessing the 1.5oz wont matter, is there enough room to move the batts to offset the additional weight?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  4 місяці тому

      yes more than enough room!@@afterburnerrc6333

    Looking to get my first turbine model! Would you recommend the t45 or the l39?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  20 годин тому +1

      I would highly recommend the T-45 hsd jet or the L-39! I have a coupon code for the HSD t-45 that will have you $145.00 code is RCPR10

    Is there a chance to do a speed test between this turbine, a 12S EDF, 8S and 6S?
    Also noticed all the turbine newbies in my club started with an L39 .

      If you look at my channel I've done speed trials on all except this l-39

    What are your throw rates ? Are you using 15% expo on all rates? CG poet book?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  15 днів тому +1

      I'm set all surfaces at 10% Expo, I don't use expo alot and used to never use it. But it's cool 😎

    • @JoeElPadrinoRC-df3zj
      @JoeElPadrinoRC-df3zj 15 днів тому +1

      10% rates ? I heard on the video that you use 15% expo

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  15 днів тому +1

      @JoeElPadrinoRC-df3zj Then it's 15% I was referring to the T-45 alerions are 55,65,80%

      @@RCPlaneReviewer ok cool! So 15% expo .
      What are your throw rates ? Are you using only high and Mid rates ? I just finished my turbine L39 I just want to start with some rate for the maiden then I will adjust it. Thanks
