03:45 - Hawk fly-by at 3,000’ that was special. Talk gently to them sometimes they fly with you just cuz they get bored too. Never fly directly at a bird of prey, that would be a sign of aggression, similar to dogs. Approach them slowly or let them approach you. This one was friendly maybe a bit surprised to see you there, not pissed at all. Hah. Subscribed!
They are vultures. They never attack paragliders unlike some others birds of prey. I guess they wouldn't mind eating a pilot that has crashed however. :) You can use the vultures as an indication of thermals. Sometimes they fly together with you in the thermal and sometimes they get scared and go find another one.
What a cool vid.. Awesome...
Flying with the vultures and other bird of prey is amazing and you captured the moment so well. Epic.
Thank you kind sir! :)
Super - looks like an easy spot

05:30 - that’s a buzzard, not nearly as social as the hawk, would rather eat you than get to know you… 😳😁🙌🌎
