I’m flabbergasted! These young girls know no fear. Are they wearing bike helmets? I know this mountain and would be happy just to walk the normal route to the top.
It was only the second via-ferrata, but they did well. Because they had a year of training at a climbing club. I do not recommend for children without preparation is really long for the whole day.
@@climbing-hiking Nonetheless … dizzy heights and precipices are not for the faint hearted (like me aged 69) or those not sure-footed. They seemed to have the right gear but it’s still not without its acute risks- as I’m sure you’d know. As you’d also know, many adults are ill-prepared with no training, poor technique and inappropriate gear with little appreciation of the inherent risks (evident on UA-cam). Were you leading / guiding them?
@@climbing-hiking BTW My sister-in-law lives nearby. She does via Ferrata too. She says “…every year some people are killed on this tour because it`s a long one and popular because it’s very sunny and warm on the wall.”
