Samsonov isn’t the goalkeeper to backstop the Leafs to a first round playoff upset of the Lightning. One can argue that Jack Soupy Campbell is better than Samsonov.
If they play this lop-sided from game to game... its going a 5 game series for sure. and the less games you play the more rest/recovery you have for next round. When the Lightning get rolling, you might as well just surrender.

Kane is inconsistent not someone you need in a playoff situation which is fine as his team is not going to the playoffs. Marner, on the other hand scored his 400th tonight and is very consistent. In fact has the leaf record on points in games in a row. Something that you need in a playoff situation.
