- AFW & 4 Wheeling Australia 4x4 collaboration series episode 4 continues off, after leaving the Mini Rock, to check out the Glowworm Tunnel. We had a small tree fallen across the track which was easily cleared with the new M18 Milwaukee chainsaw. We filmed driving through the tunnel on the way there. After we got there, we did the cave walk detour on the way to see the glow worms. It was very cold, as that area is always shaded and the draught through the glowworm tunnel just slices! On the way back, we did a night 4WD run at the Ranger Bob Trail. Stay tuned and follow our progression of fourbying, camping, sightseeing and other offroad related stuff that occurred during this awesome and intense week. Thank you for watching.

Fantastic area. Used to live in Sydney so know this area well but havent been there for 20 years. It was never easy but they look like big boy tracks now. Great vid.

Top video. We went to the Glowworm Tunnel last November before the fires. At the entrance of the tunnel was a nice Red Bellied Black Snake having a sunbake. A great place to visit and boy does Newnes have some exploring to be had!

Thanks mate 👍 It's called Fire Trail No 1, just north of the ruins as you go towards the Glow Worm Tunnel and the Glowworm Tunnel Rd. Nice drive actually.

Not too bad. 20-25L per 100km on 37s, depending on the altitude too.
@@AussieFourWheelers That;s decent. I could potentially get one for a daily then if it had 33's. That wouldn't chew too much juice (trying to decide between a tb42 or tb48 gu and a td42 gq)
