- Cold starting all of my cars in winter storage after 4 months. Starting with the 2010 Ford F-150 Raptor, followed by the 2005 Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon, 1997 Mercedes SL500, 2006 Chevy Corvette C6 Z06, 1987 Ford Mustang GT Foxbody.

The c6 z06 and the c7 stingray are the most underrated sports cars under $50k. They’re basically the only modern sports cars that combines lightweight, an NA V8, manual transmission, RWD, analog driving experience, and open roof if you want it. And then there's MagRide which is an absolute game changer. All Corvettes have a certain image, I get that... but if you get past that, it's one of the best modern sports cars IMO. If BMW or Porsche made a modern car with that formula (lightweight, NA v8, manual, analog, RWD, etc etc) it would break the internet. Meanwhile the Vette has been giving us what enthusiasts really want forever yet we sleep on it.
…And I know we can debate whether or not its lightweight ... its no Elise, but compared to other modern sports cars, its lighter than even the V6 competition ie Supra, Nissan Z, 911, M4, F-Type, etc. Miata is obviously lighter but much slower. the only car I can think of with any grunt that's notably lighter is maybe Boxster GTS. Honestly I think these are the best modern affordable sports cars on the market - take your pick of better engine in the c6z or better interior / tech in the c7 but either way you can’t go wrong.

I love that corvette but, that mustang sounds amazing
I would recommend for the mustang a one way check valve on the supply to the carb. It helps with keeping the fuel right there at the carb instead of flowing back. Great video brother, they all sound pretty mean 🏁

I figured out what I did wrong after. I should have key cycled it off and back on to let the fuel pump prime. That’s why it worked instantly on the last one. Would have started first try

The Vette sounds so crazy. I live right over the border from you guys in Buffalo and have been lucky to get my C5 out a few times over the winter. All this video tells me is that I really need to go and throw a cam on it finally.

Who does the servicing for your MB? Is it exclusively European Auto? And who warranties the SL?
European Automotive. They replaced the steering gear on it already so that part is under warranty. Unfortunately it was an aftermarket part and the shaft started leaking after 2 months. So I just need to bring it back to EA so they can replace it under warranty

@itsreallyjakub, you should invest in some tire dollys for the garage. Relatively inexpensive, would make moving the cars much easier and keep your tires from flat-spotting over the Canadian winters.
My garage has too much slope. The cars would just slide down into the doors. I wanted to get them

@@itsreallyjakub well, not much for power other than a tune. makes about 475whp. It does have ZR1 mufflers. But I use it as a dual street/track car and it's been a long road. ECP radiator, IR oil cooler and oil T-stat (laid horizontally bottom exit) so as not to block the rad, 10qt Lingenfelter oil tank, Avaid baffle, Forgeline 18x11 and 18x12.5, Wilwood brakes, TurnOne PS pump, C7 control arms (want to retain comfort), Caravaggio seats (OE BarcaLoungers don't cut it), AMT camber plates, MGW shifter, 6lb Braille lithium battery...and so on. I forget...it's been quite a journey. Mostly stuff to keep it from hurting itself. Oh yah...AHP reworked heads.
oh, and DRM Bilstein shocks. There's been a lot, but I'm trying hard to keep it stock(ish) 🙄

Yes it’s a very aggressive cam and it’s cold out and it hasn’t been started in months. If you drive it once a month it starts first try every time

In the Ford Mustang, there is a Dodge Daytona V8 swap RWD its normally a FWD Turbo 4 sports car the V8 is what Dodge Daytona R/T should have had to start with with the Ford Mustang GT Chevy Camaro Z28

Why don’t you have your cars in battery tenders? Norco from Canadian Tire works well. Been using it in my Bimmer for years.
I have the SL on a tender. Z06 battery disconnected. Foxbody antigravity battery. Raptor on a tender sometimes. E55 antigravity battery
Knowing what a 650 sq ft condo in Toronto costs, a garage where you can open your car doors for 3.5 cars is great.

Honestly really tough call for me between the vette and the stang. Obviously the vette has more power but man that stang is no slacker even with half the power. I'd probably use the fox body as a daily tbh, but I don't have a family its just me.
