Howdy from Newport Beach California it’s the beast Tiger 🐅.. I enjoyed watching you guys video.. i’m starting back fishing (on the jetty) again…2023.. oh on the jetty there was a Guy said that he got a ticket where you guys were fishing… I don’t know if he had a fishing license or not…?.. again thank you for your video I will continue watching good luck the beast..🐅
Ha thanks for the shout out to us Iowa boys Tony! Give the jetty some love again, it will bless you I know. Need the grey light incoming for sure...Miss you San Diego!
Legit, I caught a clam while fishing. Legit bit the hook. I dont understand... but I also caught my first spotty today at Harbor island. Both of them where caught on a Major Craft 30 Gram Jigpara
Bro, I just got a $480 trespassing ticket for fishing right there on the jetty. It sucks bc i have been fishing that spot for years. The officer jumped off of their boat onto the rocks to come give me that ticket!
Everyone always focuses on how many different species and PB size for each species BUT I love seeing how many different locations I can catch fish at. Haven’t seen you fish there before so it was cool to see you catch in a new place.
I’ve been killing it on the drop shot with a 2” keitech easy shiner. I prefer to fish the incoming tide lately. Been catching a few new species this year out of mission bay.
some of my best fishing days was in that river behind you guys. One of my favorite UL spots. spotfin, yellowfin, Halibut, perch, corvina, corbina. I tend to do better fishing on the sand side.
Anywhere in SD BAY is nice. You can try Coronado Ferry Landing or Harbor Island along the shore for halibut. Our bays are filled with them, it's the matter of them biting your bait. Good luck! Drop shot white grub or fluke will be the easiest way? 1/2oz dropshot and about a foot leader from weight and hook.

Do you knot your braid to flouro or do you use a swivel to connect the lines? Would like to see a setup. Appreciate the video as always!
Uni to Uni knot! 10 loops on the braid, 5 on the flouro!
What tide app do you use. Thanks great videos
Thanks, and 'gear used in description below' should help you with what you're looking for. USTIDES.

I love the WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE every time you cast.. cracks me up.. I still don't get how to cast a level wind without getting a massive bird's nest.

You should sell a hoodie or something with that logo at the end of the video!! Looks sick. Another great video and killer bass
I wish brotha!!! I just don't have the time and income to provide that service at the moment;
DFG kicked me out about a week ago off the slab lolol let me off with a warning. If yall plan on fishing there, fish at your own risk.

Is it legal to fish the flat are of the S MB jetty? SCC has some toad spotties lurking. Nice job guys.
Nope
Only had the lifeguards kick me off there once. They usually don't care as long as the tide is low.
