I was impressed with how carefully you worked. You really showed how you get the proportions and tone correct. And there is no way around that other than hard work.

I can duplicate most of what I see( with one eye) but no chance replicating your stroke. Please give your wife some breaks . She has to be a very patient women.
I love these videos. If you have time, drive through Custer State Park and see the buffalo (bison). (Usually they will be within a few feet of you.) It's amazing and would make great paintings! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Great commentary about your sketching process, capturing the essence rather than specific detail. Guessing most of us would be happy with that level of ability. Wow, gesso in a spray can. Any good? Guessing it gives an even coat.
big fan of your work and voutube video's. I saw in the face on the right first Robert Redford and the he became Warren Beatty. I'm sure they are more recent founding fathers. :-D

We all know that the disgusting figureheads that are carved into this mountain are a bunch of criminals and land stealers. Lets not glorify these demons. On another note love your channel Cesar!
Thanks for the love. I've lived in other countries for years and this is the only one allowing immigrants to really build their dreams. I wouldn't look at the worse in people but the best in them, and they created the best and most charitable nation on earth. Yes we can all be better.

This can not be entirely true when to this day immigrants are being abused and marginalised.. today as we speak! by the government and common Americans (not all). Lastly the America we know today was built on the back of struggle and suffering. So it is wrong to even say that I can be polite and agree with you. There is no mass immigration out of this country, allways in. The media is making us focus on the worse examples as if it was the norm. It is not. Look around your immediate environment. Not around the same circulating stories through a phone.
I enjoy all your videos. They are inspiring and provide valuable insight into the thoughts and craft of an artist. However, having learned about our nation's treatment of Native Americans I cannot admire Mt. Rushmore. It's a marvelous sculpture but never should have been put in that place.
I see, the difference is that I like to focus on the positive side of what is, not on the negative of what should have been. Thanks for wanting the best.
