I miss when hardbass used to be like this. Before all the memes and everything ruined it the future of the genre. XS project is a shell of what it used to be. Even the future of hardbass will never be as great as it was before like 2014, at least we have so much undiscovered old mixes to find to keep our fascination alive. Modern hardbass doesn't contain as much soul as it used to. Just compare the early pumping storm mixes to the final ones. I personally think Metalshade is really the only modern style of hardbass that currently is still producing music that relates to the older style of hardbass you and I are searching for.
Yeah, Metalshade really holds up well as a modern style of pumping. If artists like XS Project or Hard Bass School, hell even Alan Aztec could be what they used to be in the 2000's and early 2010's. The good thing is that there's new artists that keep the old school feeling alive, but sadly they're really underrated.
@@chrisredacted4797 yeah, Alan Aztec was more of making Melodic stuff or something like that during the 2000's. And yeah, sadly Speed Garage is not that often mixed with hardbass now, but the artists that i said that are underrated still do it.
