Some of my fav Trek episodes are: "City on the Edge of Forever", "The Tholian Web", "Balance of Terror", "The Doomsday Machine" and "Spectre of the Gun"
This was a lot of fun to watch. I was a trekie in high school, now I'm called a treker. I really like to watch a lot of Star Trek fan films here on UA-cam, you guys should check some of them out.
"A Piece of the Action" street where they first beam down was the same street used as the home from 'Laverne and Shirley' and the beginning intro when they're walking down the street singing "Schlmeel, Schlmozo, Hosenfeffer Inc".
After the 72 flood,I was 10,my dad had to remodel the house, using scrap wood and paneling, and two old school desks,I built part of the bridge of the Enterprise, My Friends Matt,Bob and Roddy, played Star Trek for hours, and I had it for about 5 years, so we literally went on a five year mission.
I wasn't bashing Tranya. No way! I actually love grapefruit juice. And...I won't be purchasing the "abomination" again. IMHO, it wasn't horrible...but that's not saying much. It's back to Coke Zero or Diet Coke for me. 🙂
@@jdsundstrom Just teasing about Tranya bashing. It's funny sometimes what is used for props. TOS did some nice work where beverages were concerned. I think there is an official name for the blue Star Wars milk but it's only for the deep divers and less relatable, IMO. Saurian Brandy, Romulan Ale, Aldebaran Whiskey, Bloodwine, and even Klingon Raktajino.
I remember watching Devil In The Dark. Didn’t Dr. McCoy treat the rock’s wounds? He probably said his usual line, “I’m a doctor, not a .” 2nd - It was heartbreaking to watch what they did to maintain their future. 3rd - I did not know that Clint Howard was the actor. 4th - i remember that one, but not one of my favorites 5th - “Trouble With Tribbles” my most favorite episode. Scotty says, “It was no Trimble a tall” I enjoyed the DSN episode. 6th - fun shore leave destination Thank you for doing this video! Loved the topic. Watching ST:TOS Friday nights was the highlight of my week. 14 year old Me had such a crush on Mr. Spock. He was the ST character I have always liked watching. All the young women characters went ga-ga for Capt. Kirk. Meh.
just to add to the 'mob' ep. a piece of the action. the mob did not like their THING being shown out there. the Godfather (p1) went thru its own personal Hell (see the HBO show 'the offer'). but star trek, well they even had kids working an angle.
14:50// a piece of the action // i (when a kid) it was the best sci fi of what IF the mob did take over. all the years, post star trek, the mob was not seen as a organized THING. Hoover refused to allow his own FBI Men to even mention the word 'organized'. star trek never gets credit for Bringing the crime lords out into the lime light. on TV, in color. one had to watch the Kennedy Hearings from Congress to see the operations (or not) of the mob LOL so many great eps //
In the Trouble of Tribbles it was not Harry Mudd but in fact it was Cyrano Jones.
You are SO right! It's time for me to go back and watch that episode again.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who realized this. Thanks for pointing it out so I don't have too.
I read, that they wanted Harry Mudd, but the actor wasn't available.
My Favorite Episode was the First one all the way to the last one.😁👍
You're right. There are SO MANY great Star Trek episodes. 🙂
Good stuff guys. I totally enjoy the ''vibe'' of the whole channel.
Awesome, thank you so much!
@@jdsundstrom Servo: Yukon Cornelius and Herbie are calling.Servo: It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad....World.😂
No Harry Mudd in The Trouble With Tribbles. That was Cyrano Jones.
Somebody beat me to it😊
Thanks for the clarification. Clearly, it's been a while since either Scott or I have watched that episode. 🙂
Some of my fav Trek episodes are: "City on the Edge of Forever", "The Tholian Web", "Balance of Terror", "The Doomsday Machine" and "Spectre of the Gun"
All great episodes, for sure!
The bar fight with the Klingons in "The Trouble with Tribbles" was epic!
Totally agree!
Clint's character name was "Balok"
Thanks for the clarification!
I still need my cosplay uniform.
Me too! That said, I'd prefer not to wear a red shirt. 🙂
@jdsundstrom I have cosplay clothes for Star Wars and Marvel

I love the Star Trek Continues series. They did a great job of capturing the look and feel of the original show.
@@jdsundstrom Agreed.
Enjoyed this very much. Loved Star Trek. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it, Jan!
I tried the Oreo coke , if cancer had a flavor Ta-da! its just god awful.
The Doomsday Machine and The Omega glory are my favorite Star Trek episode
Both great episodes! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Kenneth!
I enjoy this very much Dave so far so much fun 😂
Thanks Tracy! It's always fun to hang out with Scott and reminisce.
That was fun. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching. Both Scott and I truly appreciate it!
It was an Episode of Deep Space 9,where they revisited the Trouble with Tribbles. And it was not on a planet, but on Deep Space Station K7.🖖
Thanks for the clarification, Lee!

It was a DS-9 not TNG episode on the Tribbles, and Mudd, nope it was Cyrano Jones, played by Standley Addams. Mudd was played by Roger C. Carmel.
Thanks for the corrections, Dennis!
THIS is Tranya! Dave, you and Scott both just drank an abomination of Coke (Scott ate the abomination cookies). Bashing Tranya? LOL!
