- Not all towers are made equal in every tower defence game. This includes the Brutal Mode EX Plus mod for Plants vs. Zombies which makes the game significantly harder to beat. Some plants are blatantly game-breaking, while some plants are straight-up useless. Let's see what RCCH thinks about each plant in this video.

I have played PvZ Heroes which can also be called PvZHeroes abbreviated to PvZH part of the PvZ franchise but this game has Heroes, it is a Card Game, more specifically a Collectible Card Game, which is called a CCGS as well, it has Plants, Zombies to fight, Plants versus Zombies is a great franchise so I love it, Plants vs. Zombies is also another name since some people include the dot, Plant vs. Zombies is another name when you forget, Plants vs Zombies is the one without the dot, Plant vs Zombie is dumb idk who forgets both plural forms, just call me RCCH, but you might know me as RCCHGaming, or RCCHGaming123 from Minecraft and Roblox, and PvZTryhard calls me RCC, but FryEmUp or Fry Em Up calls me RCCH or just call me RC I now play Brutal mode which is hard mode made harder also called pvz beta mode but also hard mode harder which is pvz plus harder also known as PvZ+ and I love it's so hard it's a difficult version sometimes it's Kaizo hard yay metadata finished

1. I forgot to mention that Garlic has double the health in this mod, which is why it costs 100 and crazily strong
2. Potato Mine cannot be used in the water like Squash but the water lane is usually much less dangerous

Interesting that you didn't use the S+ ranking in this tier list unlike the previous two but given how incredibly overpowered the zombies are in this mod, I wouldn't have been surprised to see Doom-Shroom at S tier with a star next to the S.

Zombotany 5 doomshroom zombie(letterhead variant). If you kill this zombie, he unplants every plant but if he reaches the area beyond the lawnmowers or before our death zone, he gets hypnotized and fights for your side

I love the fact that Brutal, Ex, and Ex+ make plantern good.
Brutal: stuns and removes plastice
Ex: stuns and shrinks zombies permanently slowly them
Ex+: doubles dps of plants in a the 8 tiles surrounding it
As someone who has played a lot of this mod and done challenges on it such as NLLs, I wanted to share some thoughts I had on the tier list and some of the rankings.
Cabbage-pult: It’s actually good in all of the Roof levels on 1.2.4 until Melon-pult is unlocked, since Starfruit is no longer viable. I was able to beat 5-4 without mowers, doom-shrooms, and only 9 slots with it. However, in Go With The Flow, it is not the best plant there. The best plant is actually Threepeater paired with Plantern and Tangle Kelp for Snorkel Zombies.
Cob Cannon: The only existing NLL run of Unsodded that I know of actually uses Cob Cannons with Ice-shroom for Target Zombies. I think the reason it did badly when you tried Unsodded is because you were unaware of the ambush cancelling mechanic.
Fume-shroom: It’s extremely underrated in this tier list. While it’s not the best attacker, it is excellent in World 6 and other Night levels. When buffed by Plantern, it becomes a piercing Repeater for only 250 sun, and you can put 8 of them around one Plantern. 2 of them on a Plantern are basically enough to beat every Night Roof level with support plants, and I was able to NLL 6-1 to 6-4 alongside 6-7 and 6-8 using this plant with no Doom-shroom.
Gloom-shroom: Still not a great plant, but it is the best option for 7-3 mowerless doomless, which counts for something, considering that level took over 5 hours before I was told about Gloom-shrooms.
Chomper: It can actually replace Doom-shroom in some dumb strategy levels. I’ve been trying to NLL worlds 6 and 7 with no Doom-shroom, and in levels like 6-9 and 7-1, they were beaten easily by using doomless dumb strategy, with 2 rows of Chomper instead.
Garlic: It’s surprisingly unnecessary to beat a lot of the dumb strategy levels. Yes, including 6-6. Tall-nut variation is just better most of the time, since it can survive hits from Gargantuars.
Ice-shroom: It’s honestly not that needed in the dumb strategy, for example in 6-6 I found a lot more success when using Jalapeno instead of it, it is a good plant but I feel it should be a bit lower maybe? Unsure about this one though.
Cattail: Considering many of the hardest levels in the game are not Pool levels, I don’t really think it deserves S tier, but if you look at only Pool levels and pretend those are the only levels that exist when ranking it, it is an S tier option.

And then you have Catapult variants in world 7 that throw vases and would be a huge pain
i’m fairly certain 6-2 is doable without zombie variants, i’ve already made a strategy that can beat the dancing zombies before they spawn any ambushes, but the only zombie that makes it humanly impossible is gramophone zombie, since it heals the dancers, without it the level might actually be quite easy

Have you noticed folks plantern is the only plant ( not even doom shroom ) to being at s tier in all tier lists but in vanilla it's f tier

I am curious how doomshroom got buffed that much. most mods need to nerf it from vanilla to keep the plant balance in general check.

I would make some changes if you were to do one w/ the v1.25
1 I would put cactus lower since now it has infinite pierce like fume-shroom and fires 2 projectiles, but get reflected by screen door destroying its lane in a second or 2
2 I would put jalapeno at bottom of B because when it goes off it makes a bunch of fire balls w/ splash damage making similar to a cherry bomb
3 I'd put cattail in 2nd because w/ plantern, it attack speed is real quick and each projectile now hits a zombie 3 times, making (almost) all water levels trivial
Now tier list Zombie in Brutal Mode EX Plus
I'm convinced that the creator of PVZ Brutal, Brutal EX, Brutal EX Plus really likes Plantern.
So IDK witch version I'm playing but there is the pause alt button (in game cheat), and some changes.
- Cactus projectiles pierce trough zombies making them extremely powerful (cactus kills buckethead zombies easily)
It makes cactus the second best attacker just below melon and winter melon and stronger than nerfed starfruit since with plantern it easy kills large groups of zombies (up to gargantuar)
- News paper zombies have a "knife variant" higer health, they dont sprint but they kills all plants ONE SHOT (except when a instant is used) when enraged, making tall nut and pumpkin (they dont explode if killed by them rip) less efficient.
What changes in tier list?
Cactus 🠅 A tier (Way better fume shroom with high damage and cheap, but will sucks if there is any screendoor zombies)
Cattail 🠅 OP tier (They can still kills screendoor zombies, killing giga gargantuar with plantern)
Tallnut 🠆 S tier (Still very good just dont block all newspaper zombies)
Cabbage pult 🠅 B tier (They deal with this stupid newspaper zombie, I will rank it higher since I beat 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 with plantern, doomshroom, iceshroom, blowver)
Btw cabbage pult have speeding attack buff, since they deal 40 dmg per shot they can be good in longer levels.

Well, all things must come to an end, but I am sad that we will never get the run where you can use any plant including evo plants, and beat the game again to see how hard is it after knowing what to do
I think the only plants I sort of expected to switch places was Cattail and Ice Shroom, which I thought would switch places in A and S tier

I have an idea for a cool plant. A drip leaf like the ones in Minecraft. They can be planted on tiles with plants or on doom shroom holes, but they break after a while, and plants can be planted on them

Watching this video while knowing nothing about EX plus is so funny. Like why are the zombies in the zen garden. The giant newspaper zombie just turned into the logo. What is going on.
wating for a evo tier list
i made D.U.M.B (as in the strategy)an acronym, Doom.Until.Me.Beat
i've completed this mod on my own lately. i can say that, at least for me, a lot of these plants were much more used. i've never completed used so-called 'dumb strategy' (tried to use that, but didn't work for me), every level in the story mode was kinda managable w/o that (even so infamous 4 conehead peashooters at the start). maybe due to the fact that i've played with wide-screen, and on the newest versions dunno. i'd rank cabbage and kernel pult higher, due to immense amount of newspaper zombies, let alone their variation. melon simply breakes his newspaper quicker than it kills him. Cattail and cactus recieved piercing, which made 2nd pretty fine and 1st so busted, that it can be called ss-tier plant. i think there are also a plenty of things i forgror to mention, but overall, this tier-list is fine
P.S. Tangle-Kelp can be planted on ground (at least on version 1 2 5), making it reliable reusable single-target squash
well as you said it yourself, you were playing on a different version which has adverse effects on the tier list. so why even bother making this comment?
@@RCCH because people, who would try to to complete this mod on their own, will probably download the latest version and play on wide-screen, because...why not? so i've provided some context for those people and just shared my opinion about this tier-list
that would be fair, but as i have mentioned many times in the past, widescreen makes the game too easy because you are given 2 more columns of reaction time so pretty much anything goes there and you dont need to use the most broken plants - you don't even need cabbage pult to beat go with the flow on widescreen because repeater kills snorkel zombies before they even jump into the water with widescreen.
That means you can kill Dr newspaper with Tangle kelp
A pity that this serie comes to an end, I enjoyed it a lot and it was the reason why I meet you and why you are one if not my favourite content creator, keep going ;)

It's as unfair of a difficulty as Brutal EX to vanilla PvZ

3) in some zombonie level like 7-2 Gatling is better than melon pult for sure not f tier he didn't used it just
