Is there no government assisted education speciallu for the under priviledged?
There is a TEXTBOOK PROGRAM currently in place, where the Vietnamese Goveenment is placing thousands of Textbooks into Schools so that Children of underpriviledged Families can receive free TEXTBOOKS. Also, Kindergarten, Pre-School and Primary School have NO School Fees, however, Elementary, Middle and High Schook Children do have to pay School Fees. Education is compulsory in Vietnam, I believe they have to finish at least Junior High School, but that is common in many Countries. It would be interesting to know what the School Fees were for each of the Levels. Also, the Children are also Boarding during the week, and coming home at weekends, so there are those costs as well.
Another Vlogger who has 2 younger Siblings he supports to keep in School, (they are both in Middle School), lives 25kms away from the School, so they also board during the week. He said it costs him approximately 5 MillionVND per month to cover their costs. He himself had to give up his Senior School year, because they were Orphaned and now living with their elderly Grandfather. Their Mother had passed away, and their Step-Father threw them out, just before the start of the new School Year.
