Its the first day of the event, cut them some slack. They warm up every year after the first few days, just like when you get a new job and you know nobody there. It will get better im sure
@@Harrystylesmid123 The other mazes are absolutely fine, it's not even the actors fault it's the maze design with this particular layout making it quite hard to judge timings etc. The actors are all incredible and they can only work with what they've got.
I went a few days ago and honestly I was super impressed with this house. Videos just don't do it justice. Some special highlights was walking through the bathroom with the spores floating all around you... and then the clicker section had surround sound speakers to make it feel like clickers were surrounding you. I didn't jump or anything, but it was definitely anxiety-inducing. The prosthetics were top notch too, I had several clickers inches away from my face. I really loved the house
Thematically it looks good. Everything else is pants. The 'Jump scares' are repeatative, predictable and on a loop which you can see coming and looks ridiculous. It looks and feels fake. I know it is but there's no immersion, it's all formulaic.

The bloater costumes where great, but they really didn't do much of anything to actually do what a haunted house is supposed to do, SCARE people.

Cool and frightening their many type of zombies from last of us look it up on Google type zombies of last of us but they many jumpscares in the maze scares me
You can tell the theme wasn't congruent through the maze. The costumes were awesome some but the maze theme was blah. If it was me, i would have put the monster fighting scenes from the game that weren't in the TV show in here. Like fighting in the office building, in the parking garage and in the tunnel at the end of the game (with the several bloaters).
I think it would be better if there was a section where it was filled with clickers and you had to sneak passed them. These jump scares don’t do it justice
High budget and production! Absolutely awful scares and a waste of the IP. Literally a lighted exit sign every 10 feet. Way too many staff. Such wasted potential.
There could be that scene of the flooded building and visitors could enter the water and the floating piano would start playing attracting the monsters
Btw the hair for Joel isn't actual hair and it's a wig. Idk who even thought that it would be a good idea because that wig would eventually fall off and revealing Joel's messed up hairstyle. If the scareactor forgot to comb it right.
I gotta give props to the scare actors they really sold it with their movements. The jump scares were predictable and looped awfully but I appreciated that it at least looked good.

The timing for some of the spooky effects was WAY off. Also the staff standing like frozen objects.

Being a scare actor must suck. Having to do the same thing every 3 seconds. In the darkness until they set off strobe lights. Its soo loud. Just awful

This looks underwelming. But, the game isnt scary at all compared to the movies/shows the rest of the haunted houses are based on..so not surprised.

This maze is set entirely in Pittsburgh. So it starts off when Joel and Ellie get ambushed and crash their truck.
