I built my wife a pretty mean blaster. Ported polished ultralight piston shaved head for compression bills pipe vforce reeds... thing was a beast. Currently in the shed waiting on a bottom end rebuild I'll be having done this winter. I Just bought another blaster as well. But with a yz490 already installed, I'll be doing a video on that thing, needs some tlc. I'm now subscribed to your channel. Nice toys!

@@Nobucksolutions thanks a million!! and that must’ve been an awesome build. And I’m looking forward to seeing your new build come to life. I have another blaster engine and will be doing a video series on that rebuild.

The IT175 is the initial design and was not liquid cooled, but it is the same engine :)
The 200 was in fact water cooled!😊
I love blasters, fun little bikes!

@@waferzworld the IT175 engin definitely has similarities and could have been where the idea came from to create another air-cooled engine. But the actual engine the blaster directly came from is the DT200. Yamaha used the lower end and designed a new air-cooled top end.

@ I could have sworn the it200 came from the 175, but it appears that is not the case! You learn something new every day!

Do you think a it250 cylinder would fit on a blaster then? Maybe with some modification but just a thought haha

@ Again the DT200 is the engine the blaster came from. With cost and time spent fabricating, in reality it would be best to go with the 240 3mil stroker kit from Vito’s. You achieve the same HP as the DT200 engine.

Youre 100% correct. But it would have been a lot pricier and these were kinda designed as mid level, kids quads. And it may have competed with Warrior sales. Nice collection

Honda Goldwing GL1500 and Mazda Miata are my funny rides. But in the 80:s i rode an RD350LC- 83 for 4 years = 30000 km totally. I loved it 🙂🙂🇸🇪🇸🇪👋👋
