this concert was actually earlier than the ladies of soul concert., 2012. Glennis had a huge success with a Dutch song, called afscheid ( goodbye) and therefor she gave her very first big concert, in Amsterdam at Heineken Music Hall, now called Afas Live for a big crowd of fans. It was a concert with songs of her own and some beautiful covers, like this one. The saxophoneplayer is also well known, her name is Candy Dulfer. Both Glennis, Candy are now part of the singing sensation Ladies of Soul, a annual concert with soul, pop and their own repertoire. They are always at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam ( near Afas live which is quite smaller)

Jan Everse .... Many apologies if I did miss it but I tell you, I had a BALL on my 1st ever trip to the Netherlands & as for the concert Glennis gave, I wouldn’t just give it a 5 star rating..... I’d give it 500 stars!!! It was sensational & made the long trip from Australia so well worth it. I am DEFINITELY coming back once all this “pandemic” crap is over with & we can all fly international again without having to worry about quarantine or isolation in a hotel at either end of the trip. If Glennis is performing again when I come back.... BINGO!!! EXTRA INCENTIVE ❤️✌️😋👌❤️

I was that evening also at the concert of Glennis with my wife. And of course we liked it very much. Last year many things changed in my life. I'm retired, since march I'm a grandfather, I have a seasonal place on a campsite. And I always thought that Glennis was our best singer, but I found another one. Her name is Floor Jansen of the symphonic metal band Nightwish. A genre of music I was not familiair with. I found many beautiful music in this genre. This is a part of a Glennis Grace concert that she did in 2012 @ the HMH Hall ( name of the Venue) in Amsterdam the Capitol of The Netherlands also known as Holland. Glennis is a famous artist in our country. She started singing when she Heard Whitney Houston sang her songs. So is probably one off Whitney’s greatest fan and Whitney is really her Idol. But throughout the years she has recorded several albums, a few in the English language and others in the Dutch language. She is also one of the singers in this Dutch groep that are called the Ladies of Soul. So Yes, Yes Glennis is great, But the Netherlands is to little for her to gain worldwide recognition. Therefore she is going to Be seen in A.G.Talent and has already reach the second round. So Thank you for noticing her. Glennis has somewhat of a name in Holland aka The Netherlands and has been performing forever lol. at age 15 or 16 I think she won a contest where she performed One Moment In Time and I think that was 1996 anyways that gave her a boost and put her on the map! In 2005 she sing in the Eurovision Song Contest and won the national selection however she didn't make it to the finals. Pretty much after that in 2017 she sung "Run To You" by Whitney Huston at the 2017 Ladies Of Soul event and that went Viral because Nicki Manij tweeted that performance. After that other big names have been in contact with Glennis including Babyface, BeBe Winans, Nicki Manij, Tyra Banks, Porsche from the tv show Real Housewives Of ALT and even the 2 guys who wrote Run To You for Whitney have listen to Glennis Preform.

She was only 15 when she won one of the first singing television shows in the 90s with singing "One moment in time" impersonating Whitney and it became the start of her career in the Netherlands. If you're curious, just search for "Glennis Grace Soundmix show" you will find it. There is a lot of Dutch in it, though you can skip it.

I "discovered " Glennis several years ago through a Dutch television show that featured "The Best Singers of the Netherlands". She was singing a Dutch song called "Afscheid" which means "Goodbye" that was a hit many years ago for a popular Dutch group (the guy with the black hair losing his mind while she sings was the singer of that earlier version). This is a part of a Glennis Grace concert that she did in 2012 @ the HMH Hall ( name of the Venue) in Amsterdam the Capitol of The Netherlands also known as Holland.
Glennis is a famous artist in our country.
She started singing when she
Heard Whitney Houston sang her songs.
So is probably one off Whitney’s greatest fan and Whitney is really her Idol.
But throughout the years she has recorded several albums, a few in the English language and others in the Dutch language.
She is also one of the singers in this Dutch groep that are called the Ladies of Soul.
So Yes, Yes Glennis is great, But the Netherlands is to little for her to gain worldwide recognition.
Therefore she is going to Be seen in A.G.Talent and has already reach the second round.

Glennis has somewhat of a name in Holland aka The Netherlands and has been performing forever lol. at age 15 or 16 I think she won a contest where she performed One Moment In Time and I think that was 1996 anyways that gave her a boost and put her on the map! In 2005 she sing in the Eurovision Song Contest and won the national selection however she didn't make it to the finals. Pretty much after that in 2017 she sung "Run To You" by Whitney Huston at the 2017 Ladies Of Soul event and that went Viral because Nicki Manij tweeted that performance. After that other big names have been in contact with Glennis including Babyface, BeBe Winans, Nicki Manij, Tyra Banks, Porsche from the tv show Real Housewives Of ALT and even the 2 guys who wrote Run To You for Whitney have listen to Glennis Preform.

This is a 2,5 hour Glennis Grace concert in the Heineken Music Hall (HMH - first time) in Amsterdam on the 15th of Septemver 2012 for 5500 people (sold out) with a 10 man band.

She's been singing for over 20 years in the Netherlands. She was only 15 when she won one of the first singing television shows in the 90s with singing "One moment in time" impersonating Whitney and it became the start of her career in the Netherlands. If you're curious, just search for "Glennis Grace Soundmix show" you will find it. There is a lot of Dutch in it, though you can skip it.

After her first number 1 hit in 2011, Glennis gave a big concert in 2012. Of which this song was a part. It was a very varied concert with English as well as Dutch songs. A DVD has been released of this concert. "Glennis Grace live in the HMH". You can still order this DVD at: "www.bol.com". It is really a must-have, because it contains a lot of top songs from Glennis. Even if you don't understand a number of songs, it doesn't matter. It is just fun to see and hear Glennis so busy.

I "discovered " Glennis several years ago through a Dutch television show that featured "The Best Singers of the Netherlands". She was singing a Dutch song called "Afscheid" which means "Goodbye" that was a hit many years ago for a popular Dutch group (the guy with the black hair losing his mind while she sings was the singer of that earlier version). I love the Dutch language, with all its guttural sounds, but even if you don't, Glennis singing this song will blow your mind, please just watch it to the end.
