I don't care if you're aeronautic engineer or astronaut or dish washer, enough have been said about who you are and what you do, all I and we want to see now is a home made airplane or a heli made in the land of Af

First find the science behind the materials you use. Your plane is too heavy.

He's one of the the cleverer ones. At least asking what made the others fail. But someone should tell him to successfully build a bicycle first THEN menace the skies with his contraptions

If I had the money I would love to send these guys some basic radio controlled model planes,,..I think it would greatly reduce the arc in their learning curve,,..and save a few lives.

So many disgusting racist mediocrities commenting here.
Africa is in dire need of an indigenous aircraft industry, that can supply in expensive and cheap to maintain aircraft.
These people are therefore not just attempting to get airborne (as were the wright brothers), they are trying to make modern commercially viable aircraft that can pass certification, be practical, easy to maintain and able to be produced from the very limited materials and resources available to them.
These guys are struggling against tremendous difficulties, and one day they will succeed. Good luck to them.
