A real leaf fan doesnt turn their back or throw great players like Marner under the bus! We need some changes but it's not top point a game player,the changes need to be improved defense and a goaltender that doesn't let weak goals in! A couple tweaks with the forwards to give you 4 strong lines,I I think they would be better if the media or reporters would be more positive and let the leaf management run the fricken team!!!

I don't believe the Toronto Maple Leafs will make that trade over the summer they've already invested and earned too much in his merchandise and fanbase but he won't get that extension unless he proves throughout next season that he can play at a more playoff style tempo. And if not, then he's gone by February trade deadline, or earlier.

People tend to forget the leafs are owned by Rogers Co. They have ZERO reason to really listen to fans, over the last 8 years. No matter how "fed up" we get as fans, we always sell out the games and pay the high prices for the tickets and merch. They still make their money no matter how good or bad the team does, giving them zero reasons to listen to the fans. They know they'll get our money in the end. Leafs don’t have leverage in this scenario the only way the price is driven up is by other teams bidding on a trade
