Would an outside boiler room be to warm to overwinter perennials and if not would I need to take them out for periods to get some winter sun? Sorry if a dumb question but am new to this 😊
Hi Denise. This may work nicely. Just put up a thermometer when the weather gets colder to check how cold if at all the room gets. If it regularly dips below freezing then you'll need a warmer location.

dig a small pit, plants will be safe down there. cover with a board. I am 85 and learned this from my great-grandad he was an old 1800s gardener.
