My kids don't care for blackeye peas but I bet they would like these. I try to get everyone to take at least one bite of blackeye peas on New Years Day for good luck during the new year but I'm not always success at getting everyone gi eat at least one spoonful. Maybe if they were disguise in fritter style then I might get them to eat more than just a bite! These look delicious!
I love blackeyed peas. My mama used to cook blackeyed peas all the time. I would take a plate full and smush up cornbread with them. These patties look good minus the red peppers. I will have to give them a try. I never had heard of them. Happy New Year

I'd have to agree. I don't care for black eyed peas. But, I am very open to at least trying new recipes. This might make me like them.
