In season two she had to go through the pain of losing the person she cared about the most which was her mother, she was mad at her and treated her badly because she was hurt when she found out she's not her real daughter and that her mom doesn't notice the abuse her and her brother get. However, she knew deep inside her that at some point she was going to make up with her mother and everything would go back to the way it used to be, but it was too late for her to that so she once again starts to take it out on others so that she doesn't have to face herself because she knows deep inside how badly she treated her mother just like bae Rona mentioned in season two, and in season three when things seem like they would go back again to being good she starts to feel betrayed by both her mother and brother, bae Rona was a victim but so is her , she needs love and attention but her mother doesn't understand that, so she runs back to one person who gives her attention even if he's using her, she's so hurt by her mother and brother because she's expecting love from them unlike her father whom she's expecting abuse and hatred from, that's why she's able to deal with him but not her . Also I wanted to mention a few things that you might have missed that says a lot about her , in season one when she asked her father to get the exam answers for her she was abused in return, her father abuses her on her as area and that's why she's always wearing long sleeves, in season three she's still wearing long sleeves. In season one her hair was long and her mother used to tell her that she likes playing with it but she cut it in season two as a form of punishment for herself. She really cares about her brother to the point where she tells eun byuol about the abuse she gets which must have been hard for her, also in season three when her brother slapped her she didn't slap him back even though she could have. I'm not saying that her bullying is okay or acceptable, I just believe that if she gets the love and support she lacks she would be a good person for sure.
she definitely wasn't the best person but you see character development -- in season 3, she lives a lot like her twin sister, min seola (which was interesting to see) although bullying min seola and much of what she did was unjustified, it should be considered that all she was trying to do was live well with seokhoon and her mother she was mean to bae rona (then again she thought rona's mother had murdered her own mother) but did become a lot nicer personally she was one of my favorite characters because much of her personality and actions were the cause of abuse and trauma from what she had gone through, and seokkyung grew from it all

To be honest this wont happen if Suryeon didnt cancel Seokkyungs SNU free pass Why did she cancel it? Bc she wants rona to get into SNU! Seokkyung deserves the free pass she won 1st prize and work hard for it and rona said she didnt want it !! Suryeon even bribe the Musical singer for rona.She cant even favor Seokkyung for once I bet if she didnt know that Seokkyung is her biological daughter she wont even do anything to save her!!! Btw Seokkyung has always been a second option to everyone

So then she could take a break from singing and the pressure from it, but yeah if she really wanted to go why did su ryeon cancel it ? It would make her feel more sad or angry. But for seok kyung being 2nd option or “neglected” I disagree with that, because everyone else is going through things from the past seasons.They really can’t do everything for her ? The only reason her mom was being nice to rona at that time was because her mom was in jail, and she literally almost got murderd by someone at the penthouse. She knew it would be hard for her to get in because or her moms past record, and for Rona it really was a dream she is passionate about. In the next ep I’m pretty sure seok kyungs going to get character development and I’m really exited for that. I really do love her character tho : )
