It reminds me of TP talking about how he was a fan of Bruce Bowen as a kid, back when Bruce was playing in France and how even though Tony and his father were Bulls and MJ fans, his brother was like « Nah, I’m San Antonio, I’m David Robinson » and years later Tony ended up playing with both Bruce Bowen and David Robinson in San Antonio. And now Wemby who grew up like every kid playing basketball in France looking up to Tony Parker is also playing in San Antonio (where another French all time great played in the person of Boris Diaw).

And all the Argentinean people that became true Spurs fans beginning with Manu. I'm Australian.... so as soon as Patty Mills arrived, I became a Spurs fan. There are thousands and thousands of Aussie Spurs fans that have never missed watching a single game since Patty signed all those years ago!

More than almost any player before, I think he understands what it means to represent this organization and to be committed to winning here.
