Warriors & fighters yes. From hell, no. In my eyes, Liston was of good sound character judgment no matter what others felt of his edge. The man was victim in many respects, & all must have boundaries, especially in such a corrupt sport with villains hiding. George is a Holy man. Big Luv 💛
For that person saying Liston Was better than foreman let me ask something. Do you base that Off a prime Liston beating a novice foreman in sparring? If not then what? Foreman’s got the more impressive record and achieved so much more. Oldest heavyweight champ ever. Went the distance with a prime Holyfield. Floored Moorer. Crushed Frazier and Norton. Smashed Lyle. Obliterated coney. So much more. Liston was a legend but foreman just did more
I believe prime Liston was a technically better boxer than prime Foreman. If Ali at age 32 can beat a 24-25 year old Foreman, than a 30 year Liston could have done that too, in my opinion.
@@saleemkirmani5583that’s your belief. I disagree. I think foreman’s technique is highly underrated and his hand work is incredible. I personally believe Liston vs foreman in the early 70’s had Liston lived would’ve been a war but I believe foreman would have come out on top.
I mean Sonny finished Cleveland Williams twice in 2 rounds each, knocked out Floyd Patterson in the first round twice, almost killed Zora Folley, beat Eddie Machen, knocked out Nino Valdes, also mauled Chuck Wepner when he was probably 50 years old.
Let's just agree that BOTH GUYS WERE LEGENDS!
Is scary if without ALI these two would have wiped out the entire heavyweight in that era
The monsters
Before iron mike there was these two!

To be fair Liston was always an old man, he was at the very least 40 years old when he fought Ali and was near 50 in his last fight
