In this video I made a tier list! Since we are closing in on the 2024 NHL Draft, I decided to make a ranking for every first overall pick in the draft since the 2000 NHL Draft! Let me know what you thought! Let me know if you agree or disagree! Do you have any hot takes?

You just can't put Bedard in the S tier right now... wait a couple years. Right now I would say he's like B or A.
I feel stammer in S is crazy everyone else up there is miles ahead
Prime Stamkos was a superstar and he won two rockets. Even now in his mid-30’s he’s an above P/GP guy and is money in the bank for 40 goals.

Agree to disagree on most of those ig. Bedard had one of the best true rookie seasons of the past 25 years and has all the hype to be the best player in his generation. Slafkovsky ain’t getting an A for a good half year but I think he can hit that tier in a year if he builds on his performance this season.
what do you mean he's only played 60 games? that's what we're judging him off of...? why are you judging him off anything other then what he's done so far in the time and games he's played...?

Yeah it sucks!! He had a legitimately good year or two and I think had he not had the injury issues he would have been higher.

I get the pushback for sure. He has been a consistently good goalie with a few great seasons but like I said, I don’t think there is really any significant stretch of time where I would confidently say that he is top-3 or even top-5.

As a Habs fan I can see Slafkovsky becoming a very high A tier/low S tier player once the team gets good, he's got that fire in him to win it and definitely looking like a better choice then Shane Wright.

Nuge at C is crazy. He’s arguably the best two way forward in the game. Good defence + good offence.

He’s been pretty mid aside from the last year or so. I’d maybe bump him up to B tbh but I don’t think C is egregious for what he’s shown over the vast majority of his career.
@@ridethepine89 pretty mid??? He might be one of the best two way forwards in hockey. It’s not often valued but his defensive prowess is soemthing to behold.
One of these S tiers is not like the others, one of these S tiers just doesn't belong.
