The doctor, the lab woman and other useless staff in that hospital should be arrested and their license revoked. Nigeria doctors and nurses are killing people daily. If you are not ready to work. Why not go home.

Why so much confusion for a shot man to get emergency hospital help? Because the Nigerian police shot a man that had just got off work heading home to his family couldn't make it home safely because his car had the wrong tent on his vehicle? And he didn't have a permit to have that type of tent on his windows????? He was driven to the general hospital to get medical attention. However could not be assisted at that particular hospital? He was told to go to the police station to get a permit to go to another hospital to get medical attention?????? All of this happened right in Nigeria????? So the man eventually died because of lack of care. Roadblocks after roadblocks???? Make it make sense?????? Now his wife is left with 4 children to fend for by herself???? Because her husband is dead for

This is what we are fighting for. Our fight is for basic survival, and everyone should consider it a civic responsibility to get involved.
Our Nigeria has failed and continues to fail because of criminal leadership and poor management of basic infrastructures.
If we allow them to steal our mandate, then we will have to deal with a non-working dangerous system for another 4 years at the minimum.
This is not a time to "pray" as we are no longer interested in this softball approach to bad governance. This is a call to action. We owe it to ourselves and our future generations to produce a working and workable Nigeria.

What a country! First, it's police shooting, then requirement of police report; following was the lack of blood and reagent, and finally the inhuman treatment of patients and families by hospital workers. All these are reasons why some of us who have tasted life in other humane and sane places are scared of relocating back to Nigeria. Although people die also in many of these countries we sojourn, Nigeria is a place where many die of what should ordinarily not kill them. The government might put everything in place in the form of policies and resources but the character of the Nigeria person which lacks empathy, respect for human dignity, motivation, discipline, etc. will always put our people in such plights as experienced by the deceased and his agonizing widow. I feel her pain but my tears is for Nigeria.
