Historically the river has been heavily used for commerce and industry, but the Swiss have worked hard to clean up this waterway and now people here love cooling off with a dip on a warm day. Jeff Wilson does what the locals do and places his clothing and valuables in a waterproof bag called a “Wickelfisch” that floats along with him as he swims.
