So as a senior, my genuine suggestion is as follows: No company will pay you good if you have nothing special. No one has anything special by birth, everyone has to learn. If you are really serious, you will have to get something special. Even you r aware that thousands of Plain Bcom pass every year, so if you want to become special, you will have to take special steps. It is knowledge Era, everything is available on youtube to learn for free. The skills demanded by companies will not depend on whether you have done plain Bcom or specialization. It will be the same as I listed. Learn Accounting concepts and principles. Accounting standards, Learn to use Accounting softwares and Microsoft excel and mention in ur CV. It will show that you take initiative and it will give you that special Edge compared to others passing Bcom along with you. I am not being harsh or trying to boast, but I myself have taken many interviews and groomed freshers. So I know what employers expect from employees.

Start learning Sage Accounting, Quickbooks, Gooood grip on excel, if possible Power BI or Tableau
