His name is Farhad Humayun and the poor guy has been fighting against brain tumour since November 2018. He was also the lead singer of his band called Overload. Checkout some of his performances. He performed in Coke Studio too.

I kept on wondering who this special voice belonged to. We hunted for it on the internet and was over the moon when my brother read out "The singer is Atif Aslam." Not knowing who the singer is and falling for a song like this, speaks for the quality of the singer itself without having to say anything else.

What an amazingly beautiful song, Atif voice is unbelievable . I am so happy that there are English subtitles and I was able to understand the amazing lyrics , I would also like to thank the covid19 quarantine that gave me the time to discover this masterpiece
One thing is sure that Atif has a unique style of singing. It can not be put in one framework. I think this particular song can do wonders for him but for some improvisation. Now, I feel he has a haunting voice which takes you to another world. In that case once cannot expect the flow of words have bumpy ride. So some how the flow has to be reconstructed to make it a legend.
