Hes our #1 fan, friend and yet the wol is HIS #1 fan and he doesn't even realize it. He's wise, innocent, a wol in his own right, and yet still a mystery.
it really hit me when i did the lv80 white mage quest and i picked the dialogue where you tell the kids about G'raha, and Sylphie says "he must have really cared for you", i realised just how much he does for the warrior of light
I was looking for an explanation about world hopping and time travel in FFXIV and this was so much more than I expected to find. It was wonderful, thank you.
As yet another person who has deemed G'raha (the purest, best, most loving boy) to be the forever cat-husband of her heart-- I adore this. The editing and all the creative touches you put on this with this *amazing* audio by Jonathan Bailey: it's made me so happy! G'raha has had such an incredible life and I love that he and his Warrior get to be together on their eternal wind. :') Amazing edit.
This is so amazing. That blend of the battle music at the end with all of the cut scenes from EVERYONE working together gave me goosebumps, oh my lord.
@@Cobheran Pretty damn impressive work. Curious about the version of battle music you used at the end montage. I recognise the theme against the gods in FF XV, but it's a version I'm not sur I heard in-game proper.
I was already unable to stop thinking of love exarch, this vid only makes that worse... which is good isnt it? Crystal Exarch, and his true form, is the best of FF14
And now he’s standing around at The Rising Stones musing on his new world and his place in it while Alisae is planning to torment him while training with the new Scions hehehe
If there is any underrated vid on this platform - it is this. Wonderful work! So sad that I got only now. Just a mircle of a masterpiece~ Awesome recap of full adventure of WoL trought FFXIV. You captured every moment that was meant to build and to show *our* character's determination, character and resolve. I gonna say it again, great job at creating this masterpiece.
I am only now discovering your non-Lore Lines videos and this is some amazing stuff, truly captures the elation and profound trepidation that the Exarch must have felt during Shadowbringers.
This video is an absolute triumph - the sound editing is flawless and the visual editing is so powerful. You did an incredible job and should be very proud of this. I love it.
Technically we did return the favor, by making that world not come into existence. Only one thing really exists from that world, a recording from Biggs, 3rd of his name and 18th chief of Garlond Ironworks. Which shows how much time passed between when G'raha got iced and when he woke up originally that the Ironworks had 18 chiefs by that point. Even if we assume a chief only holds the office for 20 years (which is short changing it by a lot) that is 360 years.
1. Nice video and edit :) I have liked and subscribed. 2. Exarch is far too important a character going forward into the future of FFXIV. There's a few things mentioned here that could have good basis for a future expansion/s after EW. 3. I really hope the Exarch keeps the same VA. Jonathan Bailey was the perfect (voice) casting for this role.
oooo mmyyy god. this video is a master piece! thank you so much for this. It summarise not only Exarch story but all FFXIV for someone that had already played it. genious work im trully amased.
I love how Apocalyptic Noctis (or whatever the title is) fits so well, ignore my stupid self for spoiling myself when I'm not even playing FFXIV just yet =w=
I know I'm several years late to the party. But figured I'd ask anyways. Just got through shb, one thing has me curious, what happened to the original world that the crystal exarch graha was in? Does it still exist in another universe, or did it disappear? Unsure if time travel works like the MCU version (ie that universe still exists, where everyone is dead, and ascians win) or is it more Back to the future version? (altering time would make things disappear in the future; if it simply disappeared, wouldnt that mean he and the crystal tower would of also disappeared, thus undoing everything in shb since he wouldnt have discovered time travel - paradoxes)?
Can someone explain why they knew the ascians lair was in the tempest? It was like ok now go to tempest to find them. But why? How did they figure it out..
Emet Selch tells us where to go after we defeat Innocence and takes the Exarch with him. It's a known region of Norvrandt so it was fairly simple to find where to go. The issue was finding exactly where he was within the region, which is why we had the first half of the zone running around exploring.
@@Cobheran thx I must have not caught that part than. Was too busy vomiting white crap to pay attention. That scene was the best scene in this entire game. I felt my avatars pain so real and had nightmares.

I don't think homie fully internalized the fact that he saved WoLs life AND two worlds. I bet he considers that just the Garlond forebears' triumph.
The only one who thought anywhere near as highly of us was Zenos lol! and in a completely different way.

not like he tells you directly many times or anything
I need to go back and do this. Level 80?? Can I see it in the unending journey?
_If I were to tell you that this isn't the end, that we will meet again... would you believe me?_

What's the first version of Makers Ruin used in the video? Plays for about 5 minutes
