Don't worry about the ramp, have a plan of getting the right ramp for you installed by a certain date and try to stick to it. As as soon as you are fully operational it is so easy to put off finishing these jobs. Don't forget to show us clips of the admin needed to do all this too. Keep up the good work pal, inspirational !

Hi Kev & Claire 😃 this time next year Kev you will be laughing at the memory of the trouble you had moving into the new shop 😃 liking Claire’s kingdom (office) looks really professional. I hope you get the ramp sorted soon, you deserve that ramp to get you off the floor when doing repairs and oil and filter changes. I think the barriers look ok for now plenty of time for improvement later. sorry Kev 😩 Claire wins hands down with the placement of the cars. You must leave room around the cars for potential customers to walk around and look at the body tyres etc, good luck Kev and Clair all the very best to you both regards to dad. Keep smiling. Hey Tom, apologies for the delay, struggling to reply to everyone which is very flattering if im honest 👍🤪I hope your right about next year, would really love this to work after all the effort we've put in. The version I saw was blacksmith made, 5ft long with re-inforced webs both sides and 8 bolts each side. However, even this won't work if the concrete in the floor is poor. Best way then is to core drill several deep, vertical holes and resin inject them with rebar. Only problem is the cost of resin injection! Next cheapest way is to excavate two piers and cast them up with rebar - again, not cheap. It looks like you might have to wait and save up for a mobile floor lift/ H lift. A four poster uses up a lot of valuable space. Head down Kev and get selling.
Thanks for this Mike and for taking the time to forward it......The concrete in that workshop looks way better than mine 😬😬😬and still they reinforced it 😬😬😬 That's the exact type of thing im looking at doing to mine as we speak, the fabricator that did that barriers has said its probably doable.....ill let you know how we get on 👍👍👍

No wonder you didn’t want to say to much about the next video when I bumped into you on Thursday! (We purchased 3 each)! What a joke about the ramp! Extremely frustrating…….but we move on and only deal with the stuff you can influence. I know it’s not ideal, but maybe a scissor lift is your best option. I don’t need to tell you what’s the best way to line up the cars…….enough comments have suggested it already! Good luck to you both!
Hey Monty 👍👍Nice one for buying 3 👍👍I bought 2 that night, have picked one up yesterday with a gaggle of issues 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄but its the chance we take isn't it!!Thanks for your well wishes mate, good luck for this week selling 👍 Speak soon 👊👊
Woohoo. Looks mega, mate. I understand your logic, as it is easier to see all the cars, but Claire’s one may entice people to jump out the car to see what’s behind. I think when you have more cars you can divide them into class, brand or body type. Don’t forget you can temporary park cars sidewards (at night) behind the barriers, for extra security :)
Never met either of you but im sat her smiling at the screen like I know you both. Hi guys,so totally understand you're frustration with the ramp and why you we're abit down but you'll sort it out im sure but its gotta be right hasn't it,i would say like you claire's way with the cars is the better way but i would leave a bit more of a gap with the fence so people can walk around them properly if like i used to like to go around looking at cars when the place was shut and then could look around at leisure but i understand every inch is important😏can i ask you if you have rented this place or bought it because obviously you are spending alot of money getting it up and running?the barriers look good aswell kev and its nearly there now, cheers 😊👍
Hi Mark, we are renting the place, unfortunately even if it was for sale we could never afford to buy it.......maybe one day hey....The landlord and landlady have covered the cost of most of the big stuff, ive just been like a project manager but the internal stuff does seem to have added up somewhat, feels like im paying a multi hundred pound bill every day 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️Lets hope it pays off, cheers mate 👍👍
@VisionPrestigeCars thanks for you're reply kev,I wasn't been nosey I was just interested especially as you've put in alot of work on it,you never know kev maybe one day fingers crossed, cheers😊👍
Could you position any of the car’s on the bit between the two barriers so there facing the road? Or is the space tight. Looks great now, shame about the ramp but looking at the space in there especially with the building posts I would go with a mobile scissor lift mate.
Hi both . Got to say Claires herringbone set up is better , also where the Citroen is at the end would look good as a handover bay ? personal opinion only . Can you not get one of those under car mini ramps that go down the sill sides , but appreciate they probably cost £ or the concrete may not be good enough . One final thing , Mr RAC and his daughter possibly didn't appreciate the interuption . Anyway great to see the progress and your putting some roots in there , hopefully word of mouth will start to spread from seeing the transformation and activity :) . Matt .
Another cracking video, glad you’ve finally made the move. Claire’s line up is definitely better, I’d personally not double stack them until you need to, so people passing can see them all, and not so close to the fence so people can view around the car if your not there. Keep up the great work!
Hi Kev and Claire its all looking good, personally I favour the display that Claire done on the forecourt, very surprised to see you still have the Volvo you may recall I messaged you about and made a loose enquiry about it while in Spain on Holiday recently.
your working your butt off trying to do that with just clare and the parents BUT A VERY GOOD FAMILY JOB I MUST SAY CANT WAIT UNTIL THE FINISH IS IN SITE well done . by the way i am disabled from a brain heammorrage at 25 and diabetes type 1 with 4 injections a day with blood at 29 but today is the 7th nov and my birthday and am 52 now time really flies when your old . lol.
Love your passion for your business and the way your keep focused as a former trader doing the same selling from home and moving to a car pitch is a good thing keep up the good work i enjoy watching brings back memories. now i am watching from Thailand 💪👍
glad its coming together for you i,ve always had a keep work and home separate while its convenient sometimes you have to keep them apart which is what you,ve done as for the car parking it would be tight for customer,s to park and it would cut done the amount of cars you could advertise the customer,s will probably park on the road so i would block the entrance where the white 1 is and use the whole forecourt for cars leaving some room to shuffle around just a thought keep going
You have worked off the floor before, you can cope until you get the right solution. Stay focused. Try to look at different types of lifts, even ones that could be used outside as well. You will get there!
Looking great Kev. Best of luck to you both. You need to come up with a layout that makes it easy to get a car out. You might not want to have to move 5 cars to dig one out for a customer test drive.
Hi Kev and Claire hope you are both well and staying dry, gutted for you over the lift hope you can get something sorted out in the very near future, Garage is coming along lovely, Claire's layout is better (happy wife, happy life 😜)
Once you've max out with cars, would it not be better to barrier off the first entrance and fill left side full with cars!?! Think with both your energy and honesty plus the well prepared cars.....your gonna smash it Kev. Best of luck. 👊
I haven't actually thought of that Taxiboy but if we get well stocked that could be a good way to go 👍👍Thanks for the positivity bud 👊Appreciate it 👍Kev
Hi Kev, brilliant news you have finally moved into your new premises. Rawl bolts was the name you couldn’t remember. Claire is right in choice of car set up, even you agreed! Can’t wish you and Claire and family nothing but the best success. Now get busy selling 👍
Congratulations on the new place Kevin & Claire 👍 been watching from the start & can relate to nearly everything, i trade from home & have been for the last 7 years, the room gets tight so id say its a relief to get your own spot! I was taught years ago ' Straight Lines Sell Cars' when lining them up so every cm counts 🤪
Thanks for being here for the journey mate 👍Ive loved dealing from home but its nice to go to a site now as well, the driveway at home looks a bit empty now 🤪🤪🤪
hi kev and claire hope you all well finally moving day. glad you now getting cars on the forecourt with price boards in ready to . sadly no lift but you sort that and hopefully it be ok. i think claires idea of how cars should go is the right way like claire said she been doing it for years lol. you will arrange them and settle in to start selling them. good luck with the big day well done its arrived.
hopefully yes mate. its a funny market but things will improve & with your videos that sets in good stead and people see how you prep them to the highest standard.
Another great video Kev . Love the warts an all style, great chemistry between you and “the boss” 😂, wish you all the success your hard work deserves 👍
Parking cars is fun but personally bigger cars on the outsides smaller at front. Remember if cars gain flat battery you need some space to gain access on forecourt. I worked in a garage in Hove and it was 6 CARS TOPS..ONE OR TWO on small space outside.. Seeing the space you have at your home perhaps keep a few there.. I've only got 6 vehicles myself. "Car of the week" On its own positioned in its own space.. Good luck with this venture.. Watching this video and listening to details had me realise starting your own business is never easy. Mine kind of creation is courier work using a van and estate car.. One whole year or even two years of not a lot of work. And then last week my 14 plate Transit van failed its mot one was welding Plus Eleven advisories. But hardest part for me was doing last years advisories to lessen advisories and only putting 200 miles on van in one year, ending up with far more advisories. Spent £1000 pounds sorting van its the best its been since I bought it. Yet I feel its time to cut my losses. I know this Burger van guy in near Chepstow and through Covid19 offered me £1000 for my van, I drove away feeling practically finished Devastated for a better word I still owed £5000 on Finance so I sort comfort from a leading Southern Counties Commercial PLC. The gent on the phone took a few details of my van and replied if we was selling your van it would be advertised at £9500 plus 20% vat which is near £11.500...Think this guy is a chancer and preys on people in poverty to gain bigger pots of cash for himself. He comes out with some crappy one liners.. "not had a good day in my life" oh and the best "Poorest man in the Forest" His catering truck if someone wanted to buy it he would sell for £150.000 Enough said but I think Id rather pay Mc'Donalds for my breakfast.. it might cost me less than the forest guy but at least I keep my van safe.. Owe I can drive the less Scenic route M5 saying this "Gloucestershire services" Ace coffee large cup £3.50 beautiful coffee.. All the best in what you do going forward..
Just bite the bullet dig up the slab and install new concrete use the existing ramp be more cost effective than messing around and selling it and buying again it’s @ big plus for the business 👍🥂

Clare’s ware definitely hope I spelt that right . Top video again Kev
Thanks Mark, nice one 👍👍
your working your butt off trying to do that with just clare and the parents BUT A VERY GOOD FAMILY JOB I MUST SAY CANT WAIT UNTIL THE FINISH IS IN SITE well done . by the way i am disabled from a brain heammorrage at 25 and diabetes type 1 with 4 injections a day with blood at 29 but today is the 7th nov and my birthday and am 52 now time really flies when your old . lol.
I think you just need a scissors ramp, just enough for filter changes / tyres wheels on off / brake overhauls rather than full underbody work
Love your passion for your business and the way your keep focused as a former trader doing the same selling from home and moving to a car pitch is a good thing keep up the good work i enjoy watching brings back memories. now i am watching from Thailand 💪👍
Because it was a motorcycle place, so that foot gap in the barrier was for exactly that 😅
OOOOOOhhhhhh, good point 👍👍👍
glad its coming together for you i,ve always had a keep work and home separate while its convenient sometimes you have to keep them apart which is what you,ve done as for the car parking it would be tight for customer,s to park and it would cut done the amount of cars you could advertise the customer,s will probably park on the road so i would block the entrance where the white 1 is and use the whole forecourt for cars leaving some room to shuffle around just a thought keep going
You have worked off the floor before, you can cope until you get the right solution. Stay focused. Try to look at different types of lifts, even ones that could be used outside as well. You will get there!
What a cracking video kev, in all honesty claires lay out was alot more uniform and tidy, you know what they say happy wife happy life
Looking great Kev. Best of luck to you both. You need to come up with a layout that makes it easy to get a car out. You might not want to have to move 5 cars to dig one out for a customer test drive.
I love listening to your accent. I have a friend in Colchester until she moves back to Chelmsford.
Both ways looked ok, but until you have 15 there, spread them out a bit Kev 👍🏼
You seem a very decent and likeable man. I enjoy watching your videos and wish you the very best.
Youll be due for retirement by time you get it finished 😮😢😅😅
🤪🤪Something to look forward to then hey Dale 👍👍👍
@@VisionPrestigeCars lol

Lovely. I'll soon be able to visit 😅
Ha!! Im a bit disappointed in the workshop but it will get there eventually, cheers Steve 👍👍
Hi Kev and Claire hope you are both well and staying dry, gutted for you over the lift hope you can get something sorted out in the very near future, Garage is coming along lovely, Claire's layout is better (happy wife, happy life 😜)
Thanks mate, I'll get something sorted with the ramp don't you worry 👍👍And yeah I agree, Claires way all the way 👍👍👍
Great to see the cars arrive and wish you every success
Once you've max out with cars, would it not be better to barrier off the first entrance and fill left side full with cars!?!
Think with both your energy and honesty plus the well prepared cars.....your gonna smash it Kev.
Best of luck. 👊
I haven't actually thought of that Taxiboy but if we get well stocked that could be a good way to go 👍👍Thanks for the positivity bud 👊Appreciate it 👍Kev
Claire’s way I think mate
Good evening Kev 👌👌
Hey Stevie, how's things??👍
All good here mate👍👍 btw another quality upload Kev👍👍 @@VisionPrestigeCars
Clairs way is definatly best
Hi Kev, brilliant news you have finally moved into your new premises. Rawl bolts was the name you couldn’t remember. Claire is right in choice of car set up, even you agreed! Can’t wish you and Claire and family nothing but the best success.
Now get busy selling 👍
Thanks for the well wishes, we will try our best for sure 👍👍👍
Claire’s is the better way to
Hi kev and Claire great to see you moving in, good luck for the future it's looking great! Sorry keV but Claire's idea is better.👍
Thanks alot Graham 👍👍nice one.
Thanks for being here for the journey mate 👍Ive loved dealing from home but its nice to go to a site now as well, the driveway at home looks a bit empty now 🤪🤪🤪
Claire, Claire, Claire….
Well done your in 👏
Clairs way is best
What an epic time in your lives, congratulations to you both!!!!
Claire’s set up for me.
Thanks bud 👊
hi kev and claire hope you all well finally moving day. glad you now getting cars on the forecourt with price boards in ready to . sadly no lift but you sort that and hopefully it be ok. i think claires idea of how cars should go is the right way like claire said she been doing it for years lol. you will arrange them and settle in to start selling them. good luck with the big day well done its arrived.
Thanks for the positivity Andrew 👍👍Hopefully the only way is up from here 👍👍👍
hopefully yes mate. its a funny market but things will improve & with your videos that sets in good stead and people see how you prep them to the highest standard.
Claire’s way wins Kev as you should know women are always right 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Another great video Kev . Love the warts an all style, great chemistry between you and “the boss” 😂, wish you all the success your hard work deserves 👍
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Back some up to the grass verge! Great work, don't be disillusioned about the ramp. All will be good.
All coming together now Kev👍🏻
Thanks Andrew 👍👍👍
Claire is the Daddy, but great video has usual Kev,could watch these all night with a few beers...
25:05 don't forget you need to get around the cars to wash them, and you want them easy to get out for viewings etc.
Claire is right, retail is detail. Simple as that.
Best of luck Kev👍
Thanks Trevor 👍👍👍👍
Looking good, all the best for the future.
First?
You certainly were 👍👍👍👍👍
Well done mate and good luck!
The cost of of a new floor slab would be far more than you think. Plus the time and loss of forecourt sales space would be crucial just now.
