Start NOW's first short film delves into the life of Jason Vochal and his fight with heart disease. Born with Aortic stenosis, Jason had to undergo a 2nd open heart surgery that left him depressed, in debt, and mentally and physically broken. "Born to die but Laughed instead" shows people that it's not about getting knocked down, or the hand we've been dealt; it's about getting back up and how we play the hand we've been dealt.

TEAM SKYLA from NC met you and sent us to check this video out. Thank you sooo very much for the boost that I think everyone needs! What a true inspiration your story is. I am going to share this with my aunt, who had a quadruple bypass last year. She almost died on us, and now she is about to undergo bariatric surgery so that she will be eligible for a heart transplant. She has definitely been through a lot since her heart attack, and will continue to go through lots until everything is said and done. Watching your video has given me a new sense of hope for her. You are an amazing person. God spared you for a reason, and I think you found it. Please keep doing the inspirational videos. People need to hear that their life is worth more than they think it is. I, myself, have panic disorder, and this is the first year since 2001 that I have driven in a vehicle alone. That was such a HUGE step for me! Seems like a tiny little obstacle to lots of people, but for mr, it was a hurdle and then some. I have since started having more self esteem. I am going to START NOW!!! Thank you again, and may God continue to work through you.
