Self taught guide: 1. Don't use those Piano tutorials that have you play individual notes by themsleves to play a song. It's better if you develop the skill of sight reading and find the sheet music with chords. 2. Practice learning by ear often but don't disregard sheet music. Chords will be your best friend. 3. Once you're at least decent at sight reading, attempt to play simple songs like Mary had a little Lamb with a metronome. This will help keep you on beat and later you'll be playing harder songs on beat. 4. Posture is really important. A lot of self taught pianists look really tense when they play piano. Relax, calm down. You want your body to be loose. 5. During my highschool performances, I noticed other performers used one finger to play multiple notes. If possible, try to use your fingers intelligently. Even if that means slowly gliding your hand towards the notes you wanna play to use certain fingers. This will not be the case for every song. Sometimes you will have to do that. I guess what I'm trying to say is use your hands intelligently. As if they had purpose in being where they are. 6. While you practice you don't have to run through the whole song, and restart wherever you mess up. Break the song into parts and practice with one hand. For example, of a song required you to change patterns a lot on the right side of the piano. Practice that side, and focus on accuracy. For the moment, forget about beats. Just get the fingering down. Then once you feel confident move on to the left hand. Then after that, play the whole song, even if its off beat, just to see if you have it down. Then you can play on beat later. 7. You can train your ear by playing a note an attempting to sing it. You could also play a note, have someone quiz you and ask "what note was that" to train. But attempting to learn songs by ear, just going out of your way to actually seek knowledge is probably the fastest method. This still will take time to develop, and sometimes it won't. Theres a lot of people born with good pitch and it's never fully realized until they actually attempt to learn music. 8. Self taught pianists are hardly professional. That doesn't mean it's impossible. Maybe somewhere out there, someone talented like that exists. If theres not anything preventing you from taking lessons. Please take lessons.
Repent and trust in Jesus. Hes the only way. We deserve Hell because weve sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him. John 3:16 Romans 3:23❤❤❤😊
A way to speed up the process is by learning different styles at ones. For example I teach Tango, but all the material works for any lead sheet. Pair that with Classical technique and some Jazz and you will profile half the time it takes! Good luck!
1:40 - i developed a "perfect pitch" purely for G sharp and only G sharp because it is the first note in fantasie impromptu which i have practiced a little too much 😅
Congrats on 20k man!! U really deserve it. I have been subbed for about 6 months and OMG UR VIDS ARE SOO GOOD I’m looking forward to when u probably hit the millions and looking forward to more videos! Congrats again!
I always love your videos. I tend to learn something every time I watch one. Keep doing these Q&A videos. They're good fun! Lastly, my own Q: Hardest piece of music you had to learn and how did you do?
1) Do you find memory or sheet music ideal for playing pieces ? 2) And how do you get started with sight reading if you are too lazy ? great vids by the way!
hello i am learning piano from last 2 years and now i want to start learning film scoring and game scoring also so what should i do . from where should i start please give me some guidence
Hi, I've been wondering myself how good I actually am at playing piano. I've been playing for a little over 10 years now maybe, but I feel like I've learned nothing. I can play a lot of songs, but most times I can only play them taking shortcuts or not fully through. I noticed myself struggling at playing pieces with polyrithms and stuck to simple octave chords that are covered up by the right hand. I sadly couldn't find a video that gives out tipps for already experienced pianists. I wanted to ask you, what I can do or how I should start practicing again at my current stage. :)
How do you record the P45 without any audio interface? Because I have tried to record one mine but it doesn't record the audio or are you just using your microphone?
Repent and trust in Jesus. we deserve Hell for our sins. For example lying, lusing, saying God's name as a cuss word and stealing our just some examples of sin which we can all admit to doing at least one of those. For our sin we deserve death and Hell, but there is a way out. Repent anf trust in Jesus and you will be saved. Repentence is turning from sin. So repent and trust in Jesus. He will save you from Hell, and instead give you eternal life in Heaven. John 3:16 Romans 3:23😊❤❤❤

My teacher stopped teaching me this for a bit but now I have it pretty much perfect. One thing, I can’t play the long trills quite fast enough.
