Was a few years ago but that mission where he walked down through the snow naked with a deer or chamois on his back had me in stitches. Been hoping to see more of Sam since then.
I make leek potato and bacon soup, soo tasty, and I absolutely love Dan's garden set up, very self sufficient. I love growing what I can in my veggie beds, some things I don't bother with like carrots as they're just so plentiful and cheap in the supermarket.

What's your take on whiebait fishing? I'm an immigrant to NZ and dont have strong feelings either way, but i can see the concern about the viablity of it given how rare native freshwater fish are in NZ? Is the west coast the only place in NZ where there's enough habitat left for it to be jusatifiable? been here 10 years and the only native fish i've ever seen have been in tanks, unfortuinately. Genuinely interested, not trying to cause an argument. thanks
