I absolutely love the emotion you show in this video 🙏🏼 There are some sights that can almost reduce you to tears, and unless you have experienced it, its not something you can truly grasp. Nature is the planets natural cure for anything 🙏🏼😍 Fantastic video, thank you Christine🙂🫶🏻
This was definitely an emotional one for me as I always loved visiting Langdale valley as a kid but returning as an adult on my own was a beautiful experience 🙌🏻 Couldn't agree more on the healing power of the outdoors & just being surrounded by nature! Thanks for tagging along on this one too, appreciate the support 🫶🏻
Hello Christine , each time I watch a hikevideo in Lake District , I am seducced by these marvelous colors that make the scenery something warm . Really beautiful environnement 🥾🧡
Enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing your joy for being in the hills. I did this walk (and then up and over each of the Langdale Pikes) with my son last summer so it holds special memories for me. I just returned yesterday from a few days in Great Langdale and after many days of heavy rain Stickle Ghyll which cascades down beside the path up to the tarn was an absolute raging torrent! I could see it from down in the valley, so different from how it is in summer.
Cheers Mark, so happy to hear you enjoyed the video & you've also got fond memories of this walk! I can imagine it's a completely different landscape after heavy rain. A couple of days in Great Langdale sounds really lovely, hope you enjoyed & take care, Christine 💚
I discovered your videos this week and I really like them. Shots of a beautiful landscapes together with nice calm music. Every new video gets even better. Thanks and good luck. Greetings. Jan
Thank you Jan - I am really glad to hear you're enjoying them & you can hopefully find some inspiration from the beautiful landscapes 💙 wishing you all the best & thanks again for the kind words x
Excellent video! I'm not sure how many times you said the view was spectacular....but who cares!! The way you emotionally communicate with nature is the most spectacular part of your videos. It's an exhibition of health and wellbeing communicating with the natural environment.
Thank you! You’re right, probably overdid it with spectacular as an adjective haha so glad you enjoyed the video though and it’s clear how much I love the outdoors comes across, that’s all I can hope for when sharing my adventures 💛
A grand hilly adventure there. I always enjoy the water running off the tops. We are waterlings and resonate wherever we find it. The views were outstanding - a visual feast to delight the senses to. Good going as always. Mark
Thank you Mark - hope you're keeping well! It is definitely a spectacular part of the Lakes & one I imagine changes dramatically with the seasons. That makes two of us, always brings me joy the sounds of water outdoors. Take care, Christine 💚
@@shefreelyroams A pleasure Christine. Oh yeah never still out there - can never be bored especially with the water. Good to hear. Peace. P.S I have one of my first walks for a long time uploaded today (injury) if you wanna see how I'm getting on. Take care.
Another lovely chilled out video Christine. I did that walk last summer but went clock wise up to Harrison first then back down the side of the waterfall, managed to fall over and bent one of my poles! 😢keep up the good work! 😀😀Rob.
Cheers Rob, happy to hear you enjoyed 🤗 not so happy to hear about your own experience doing this walk, sounds less enjoyable - hope only the poles were damaged! I am hoping to get back to Langdale valley later this year to do Harrison Stickle along with the other Langdale peaks, meant to be a great circular route 😄
@@shefreelyroams its a smashing walk, big car park next to toilets and the pub, make sure you have the right change tho, the app is useless, no internet! also a nice easy walk from elterwater up to Slater bridge and cathedral cavern , well worth a look. 😀😀
Yes agreed the app is unreliable, I managed to pay using Apple Pay on my phone without signal which I didn't realise you could do so that's a good shout if you ever return! I did Elterwater to Slater bridge last year and loved it! 😊
Great video as always 👍🏽 I've been lucky enough to do this exact walk a few times. I've camped all around this area. Pavey ark is one of my favourites 🤘🏼 it's Always different every time l go up there.. probably why l always go back 😃 amazing views. That wind sounded terrible 💨 Maybe a Mic might be an option ? Thanks for sharing 🤘🏼 keep up the great work 👌🏽 ATB, luco
Cheers Luco, really appreciate the support 💛 nice to hear you've managed this walk several times before, have you done Pavey Ark via Jacks Rake?! I am keen to get back and do a longer circular route taking in several of the Langdale peaks, hopefully later this year - as you say, views are incredible 👌 and good shout on the mike, difficult to control the conditions up high so could be worth getting!
Hey! Thank you, it really is a beautiful part of the Lakes - can’t wait to explore more of it this year hopefully 🤞🏻 Yes, I can definitely do that soon - I’ve got a couple of different boots depending on the terrain/length of walk/whether I’m carrying a heavy backpack etc so can share that if that’ll be helpful 👍🏻

Jake's rake on Pavey Ark is not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced climber/hiker other than that it's fantastic. Good video but you need a mike so the wind sound isn't as strong but pretty walk.
Yes you're right, I've heard Jake's Rake is a bit of a scrambling experience - have you done it? Glad you enjoyed the video & good shout on the mike, I was going for an authentic viewing experience but if you can't hear me that's no good!
