Danny is especially excited about our trip. I have had so much work to do at school that I haven’t been able to concentrate on the trip yet. Mackinac Island is such a beautiful place. And I have been looking for a good shampoo and conditioner that has good clean ingredients and I'm wondering if you still like these two products. I was going to purchase them. I had to LOL when you said your elementary students notice everything-sure they do but boy do high school students notice EVERYTHING 😱Congrats on retirement. I had to retire high school and college for health reasons after 47 years and it’s been excruciating BUT I don’t have children and those kids and that classroom was my life. I’m the ONLY one I know who feels that way though❤️. And we get to see you more- yay! Question I’ve asked before- what is the name of the gomage (sp)?
With all due respect, dermatologists cringe when anything other than one's fingers are used to wash our faces, or our skin in general. In many cases they do more harm than good. Just my 2¢. And if you need a bit of a scrub, when I was in cosmetology school, we mixed the flaked rice baby cereal with water into a paste and it's effective and inexpensive. We also used the flaked oat baby cereal if someone had more oily skin. I think too many are really over thinking and over spending on products they just might not need.

All the makeup lately looks good on you. These companies are really stepping up their game. I like the darker foundation, much better on you. I wish they would come up with a dupe for Vegamour hair serum. Too expensive.

CRUISE! In the fall of 2019 my husband and I cruised to Alaska on my birthday and to Hawaii on his. For the Hawaii cruise we got a balcony room so we could enjoy the ocean breeze. And we visited several of the islands. It is a great way to enjoy Hawaii if you don't want to fly.
I know you are going to miss teaching and it will be an adjustment. Thank you for being someone who I know hasn't just taught our children, but have helped model them into productive human beings! Enjoy your retirement. It is well deserved!

I love the kur nail concealer. I never could get anything to last more than a couple days. This lasts over a week and looks great. I ordered some profusion brushes and want to try the skin perfector. Thanks Laura, appreciate your vids.
I keep my nails short too. I play guitar but also my nails are just not strong so I seldom have all nails the same length when I try to grow them long. I also like the look of short manicured nails.

It is a very hard instrument to play as finger strength, stretch, curve, dexterity and speed for chord changes, and rhythm combined are necessary to play well. I admire masterful guitarists. But you can play hundreds of songs that all have the same 3 to 10 chords. So many styles. So much fun. I love all instruments, especially stringed. I have an eclectic taste in music so when I joined Google over 10 years ago it was easy to pick my handle Music Lover.😊
I am going to shop for the makeup brushes by Profusion, and I am interested in trying the KUR nail polish. Yesterday, Friday, was the last day of school here, and I thought about you, Laura. Though this chapter of your life is coming to a close, it will be filled with other opportunities. So many retired teachers, I know, after a couple of years have started working part time, as a substitute, a tutor and even volunteering in a reading program, others have taken part time or holiday work at gift shops, the opera house, the art museum, the children’s museum and the arts and entertainment complex. Then, there are others who have spent their retirement traveling, spending more time with their grandchildren, getting more involved with their church programs, taking a dance class, an art class, a pottery workshop - or just hanging out with their spouse. Yes, you will miss the students and staff, but you will have so much to look forward to. ❤
