Hi flower friends! Thank you so much for watching! Today I am setting up my very first garden journal. It's the dead of winter right now and I am longing for sunny days in my garden again, so this was a perfect project to work on in February. I used a clear A5 binder for my garden journal setup, and took the time to divide my garden / landscape into 8 different "zones." I wrote each zone on one of the divider tabs, and used A5 photo sleeves in various sizes to display and organize all of my plant tags. I used loose lined paper to make notes on each zone of my garden, including planting successes and failures. After I have all of my garden journal organized, I then get to decorating with some washi tape and stickers! I can't wait to keep decorating and add more to my garden journal this planting season!

Very nice. Funny when I became a gardening addict and Horticulture student I got the idea of starting a journal, saving the tags and adding photos and notes. It was very enjoyable. After 100's of plants including a pond it became difficult to keep up with but I encourage any new gardener to do this. Notes, photos, tags, drawings, adds alot to our love of gardening and helps keep us going in the winter. Vicki

This is such a good idea, I love this!
I was thinking that I would add a section in the back in my own journal for future garden planning/wishlists/daydreaming, etc - it'd probably be the biggest section LOL!
